So now there are five more songs possibly awaiting us (unless some of the songs have the same fate as wish). I've really enjoyed paper cuts and hope that Jason releases more in the future but for now, let's see how paper cuts closes out.  |

Jason on 'Breathe Easy':I agree with nicholassanders, totally would have thought this song came from the Who We Are days. If it was written in 2012 or so, that would make it one of the later tracks to be written for this project. I also remember reading an interview with Jude when Almería came out, and he mentioned that Where I Come From was "written for another project but we thought it was too good to pass up". Was Paper Cuts that other project? And if so, was Jason working on both his solo and band albums at the same time in 2012? I always assumed Almería came out and then he started going through his older demoes, not writing for it at the same time. I find the verses a little wordy for my liking, but Breathe Easy is really great! Man these last four songs have been so good, and we still have SSB and Goodbye to look forward to! I'm expecting him to do Sink or Swim next, seeing as he's skipped those two already and they're probably the ones he wants to close with. Maybe we'll hear Angeline next instead, since that one should still be coming in its original form too.

Still no preview up in the US...no countdown to midnight post from Jason. What gives? I thought this was one of the songs he was most excited for!?

I always thought this song had something to do with Narnia back when rumors were that Jason was writing a song/songs for the soundtrack. I knew Narnia had something to do with animals so I always pictured a big beastly animal haha. Kinda funny. Song is good, not my favorite. The concept kinda fits in with Eighties/FT&SC but I think it'll have to grow on me.
