Hey everyone! It's been a while since the Almeria album and tour. It's nice to be back on the LHB-sides side. With the side projects and Jason solo album, there's quite a bit for us all to be pumped up about. In a couple of weeks I will be entering the studio to record my first solo record. Of course it won't be on par with Jason's, but it's been a fun process. There's definitely a Lifehouse feel to a couple of the tracks. Right now I have a soundcloud account with solo home demos, a kickstarter page to help fund the project and a YouTube playlist that talks about the record and has a couple of performances. I'd love for you guys to check them out and let me know what you think. Hope you're all doing well! brianzilmmusic Soundcloud: www.soundcloud.com/brianzilmmusicYouTube Playlist on the album: www.youtube.com/playlist?action_edit=1&list=PLsFPJ3ZAM2RYMnOLm-_rEMVQWWEje0TLfKickstarter Campaign: www.kickstarter.com/projects/brianzilmmusic/brian-zilm-debut-full-length-albumLove you guys... Hey kiddos. Just wanted to let you know that the first single is out. It's called "If It's You". It's probably the most Lifehouse-y song I have. No wonder it's the one that people like.

Hey everyone. I was hoping to have a new album finished by now, but life throws wrenches into the best of plans. The second album is totally written and everything, but my health has taken a turn. I have a stutter on some days, my left hand goes numb when playing guitar, and a bunch of other fun stuff with my nervous system. Turns out I have an early and aggressive form of MS. So the next record is on indefinite hold. A couple of months ago. I did demo two songs on my phone. I really like how these two came out. They were done in one take, so they’re far from perfect. I have them on my soundcloud and hope you get a chance to check them out. Just Another Day- this song was going to have a real Anchor vibe to it. I really think it would have been THE song for the next record. I wrote it when I knew I was getting sick with something serious but not sure what. It’s a goodbye song. Very sad but it gets stuck in the head. soundcloud.com/brianzilmmusic/just-another-dayWhere You End and I Begin- my best buddy asked me to write a song for his wedding. So, I did. The song came together in a couple of hours. I went down to New Orleans in the spring of 2016 to record a single. Basically my PR folks thought a song I left off my first record should be recorded and pushed for awards and placement in something. So, my producer likes it fine, but he says we have time for a b-side. I had sent him a demo of another song and he started micing everything. While he did that, I started playing this and he asked what it is. So I played it and sang it on the spot and he told me that this song isn’t the b-side, it’s the single. So we recorded this song. Tom Drummond (Better Than Ezra) plays bass on the studio version and the amazing Scott Theriot (Hall and Oates) plays electric guitar. This is not that version. This is a demo from a couple of months ago on the phone. But now I realize I should post the New Orleans version too. soundcloud.com/brianzilmmusic/where-you-end-and-i-begin
