Yeii! Thanks for the lyrics! I'm also trying to like this song.. One step of each time.. :b It's a kind of song different from the usual but very interesting too.. Of course this one has nothing to do with the songs of NNF or SCF .. For me those were, undoubtedly, the best albuns... But well, I'm very excited to hear the new album!

I must say the new song is really catchy... I had doubts if it was a good choice for the first single, and I still have mixed emotions, but I discover more little details in it that make me smile. I think it will be played a lot in the radio. I'd say the title fits more to the songs Natasha is famous for but I guess this is what happens when the guys decide to record with another artist, Had Enough sounds more like a Daughtry song too.

I love it SO much! <3 I love the percussion ... sounds like the clippety clomp of a cowboy and his horse riding off into the sunset after enduring a bad storm. The lyrics are so interesting because as in true Lifehouse fashion, you could interpret this as a romantic song, a song about brotherhood/sisterhood of man, or even about a spiritual feeling of God being with you. I specifically tried to listen to it in all of those ways and found so many different vantage points. The lyrics (like "aftershocks") also kind of make me think of all of the terrible disasters that have rocked the world in the last few years. Hurricanes and Tsunamis and floods and all of it has been so hard on the people it affected. And the rest of the world cares and I think this is the perfect song to feature that kind of compassion and to honor those SURVIVORS who were able to pick up the pieces and keep "a smile on their face" in spite of it all. The video for this has the potential to be TRULY amazing. Being released on 9/11 is brilliant if you ask me because that reminds me of one of the most significant turning points in American history anyways... not sure if that's intentional... but the stars all seem to align on me for that one. I love their voices together... I mean... I get chills... Jason and Natasha both have some subtle nuances to their voices that are just unbelievably sincere and understated. In particular, she does some ad lib harmonizing that made the hair on my arm stand on end. I don't have words for how that makes me feel. It's gorgeous. And that bridge? Magical. *goosebumps* with the suspension of the percussion and just the weepy violins... it's like spinning slowly through a safe tunnel or something. Love it. I can't wait to hear the rest of the song and see what they come up with for a video. I'm so excited for the rest of the album. It's really different for a Lifehouse song but it's so VERY Lifehouse. I love that they know where they're going and that they are so happy about this record too!!! They should be.... they've been working on it for a LONNNNNG time. Personally, I'm glad I stuck with them as a fan. And I also think this was a nice way for Lifehouse to achieve what they mentioned earlier and that was to stay "relevent" ... they could have the greatest music in the world, but it DOES need to resonate with the times and the bigger picture of what's going on for people. I think they achieved that in a way that is subtle but very effective. Did anyone else read on their twitter: @jacobkasher amazing co-writing with u m'man! Not sure if that means THAT particular song was cowritten with him or if it's something else on the record, but that was pretty interesting to me. I don't know his work, but it sounds like he's rap/hip hop influenced himself. I heard one song called POS and my initial reaction was YIKES, but I'm keeping my mind open! LOL Time to celebrate! And get their booties on TOUR!!! #ComeToBoston !!!!! <3

I also read the tweet..did not look into that since I was just too tired to fully register that:p I also have the vibe that it's about processing trauma together.. and yeah on a second thought, the 9/11 release is brilliant, whether it's intentional or not:p

sounds like "Living like there's nothing left to live loose" I had already a feeling it would be Natasha Bedingfield - I was actually pretty sure when I saw they are following her now on Twitter - and I am stoked that it is her, I like her since Unwritten came out and she sounds sooo good with Jason, I could't be happier! (even happier that it is not Colton lol) I know there are some critics that it is too popy, but all their singles are more popy then the rest of the albums, so I don't mind and I am anyway already in love with this song! I love Ricky's drums on it!!! I love the melody and this song, even just this lil snippet gives me already goose bumps, can't wait for the whole song! Lyrics, so far I do really like what we have and they seem to be much more meaningful than what we got on SAM, can't wait to hear the rest of the song and the whole album!

naah I really think it's nothing left to lose:-D
that's what I was thinking today, that their singles usually are more poppy, and the rest of the album does definitely have to be like that at all.
I think SAM, Nerve damage, near life experience, and in your skin have pretty meaningful lyrics..*to name a few from the album:-D

Yes they do, but compared to other albums there aren't so many meanigful songs on SAM (not counting the B-Sides).

sounds like "Living like there's nothing left to live loose" I listened to it a couple of times to figure out the lyrics, the day it was released and I'm pretty sure Jason's doing one of his famous slurs which smears out the oo-sound, kinda like loohoose .. also it makes more sense than live loose or let loose or something.
