Fan Fundraiser for Jason's Birthday

Dear Lifehouse fans!
As you know, Jason's Birthday is coming up. Last year us fans celebrated it by supporting a charity organisation "Musicians on call" and it was a big success.

This year we want you to join forces with us not only to celebrate Mr Wade birthday, but the whole band as a unit. Do you remember the story behind the song "By your side"? The band recorded this song for the family of Kelsey Harris, a teenage girl diagnosed with brain tumour. Kelsey was a Lifehouse fan like us and although she was struggling with the horrible disease, her attitude towards life remained optimistic. Unfortunately, she lost her battle two weeks after meeting Lifehouse in their studio.

Now her family runs a foundation helping to support the families touched by the drama of cancer.

So far we raised $251.36 . The money will be spent on the Foundation's goals :T-shirts
Kelsey 's family sends to other families with a sick child, establishing a writing scholarship fund ( Kelsey loved writing) and sending kids whose siblings are sick to summer camps ( I think it's a great thing... since when you have a family member diagnosed with cancer, the family is in some way "sick" along with the loved one and needs a lot of strength, too, to help and go through this rough time )

Just found this fundraiser thanks to aminta (Thanks!). I've been reading on each of the websites and on the page detailing her day with Lifehouse it says she met them in Oct. 2008 but on the fundraiser site it said she passed away in April 2009? I thought she passed away two weeks after meeting them?

There might be a typo, I can't say for sure but I think she passed away in 2009.
