this is very, very hard for me. this is one of those albums where everyday i like a new song best.
so today, i guess my favorites are falling in and here today gone tomorrow. i can't seem to get those out of my head. but i do have to say smoke and mirrors and nerve damage are excellent as well. tomorrow, they may be my favorites.

I haven't voted yet because I can't decide on a favorite yet, but I just wanted to say that I'm currently obsessed with Don't Wake Me When It's Over. I've been having a pretty crappy day, and that song on repeat has just beyond helpful.

Near Life Experience is just wow- I can't explain my interpretation of that song. I love everything about it. And I just had to vote for FWYA...one can't betray their best friend can they? ♥ |

I chose "Smoke & Mirrors" and "In Your Skin." I loved "Smoke & Mirrors" from when I first heard the clip a few weeks ago. Just love it. And the first time I heard "In Your Skin" was yesterday, and I was absolutely and completely blown away. The chorus came on and I couldn't believe the lyrics that he was singing, lol. I was like, are you serious?? That song describes me so perfectly...it is amazing. I'm still in shock over it, lol. If I kept a journal, I would be sure that Jason had somehow stolen it and read it and then wrote a song about it. LOL. I've never cried over a song the very first time I played it, but this time I did. The song seems perfect in my opinion...awesome music and insanely amazing lyrics (lol). Just love it. LOVE it. Ok, I'm done gushing about it now. LOL. that happened to me for like 3 different songs on this album. jason is always stealing my journal. also, i have no idea how i'm going to be able to answer this poll. |

I've had that song on repeat all day, too. lol  That is such a relaxing, calm, reflective, comforting, beautiful song. It was REALLY hard to pick only two, gosh dang it! The BEST song for me is Nerve Damage, but I don't considerate it my favorite necessarily. The ones that I get most excited about hearing are All That I'm Asking For and Don't Wake Me When It's Over. But man I love Near Life Experience and Falling In <3 and By Your Side and Had Enough and It Is What It Is and In Your Skin ... and .... and .... hahaha ;D Also, I'm pretty sure Lifehouse does read our diaries hahaha I think it's like this. I think Rick is really a NINJA or maybe Ben is... or maybe boLth (hehe) of them are... and they steal our thoughts with their invisible NINJA skillz and then give them to Jason to work his magic with. Then.... voila .... you have a Lifehouse song. Am I right? hahaha |
