Here is a thread where we can post about all of the unfortunate things that happen to us. Well, today, I was getting a drink out of the refrigerator, and when I'm doing something, my feet stick straight out, and they're also crooked.. so the big toe on my left foot made a huge scratch into my right foot, and it's now wrapped in bandages. The other day, I was crawling out of my shower, and i hit my head on the side of the shower. I swear to you, y'all I'm so accident prone, and for this, I also have to lend my CP a ton of credit! Anyway, here it is, guys, the official thread to complain about unfortunate events!

Lifehouse has been a constant in my life since 2001; their music has guided my life in a way that is uncanny and deemed impossible by most that hear of it. It should be known that their inspiring lyrics helped pull me from an extreme low in my teenage years. They are respected by me in a way that is almost unexplainable. One of these days, I'm going to be brave and tell them my story.

And, today when I was backing out of my driveway I managed to get my car stuck in the snow and it took a half hour to free it. Today is not a good day at all, hopefully tomorrow will be better for I will be in California.

I put all of my pictures online when I got my new computer and I had all of my papers stored on a flashdrive but I lost it when I moved a few months ago. Some of my papers I've found in e-mails but I should have backed it up again. It really sucks though

Jess - often when a computer fails, the data on the hard drive CAN BE retrieved. Do NOT get rid of the hardware until you are certain you've exhausted that possibility! Make sure you ask someone you trust about it - but it should be possible in many cases. I guess it depends on whether it was hard drive failure. If not, that data can be found on the hard drive.

Go to a PC Hardware store, they might be able to retrieve it for a little bit of money ($50 maybe) depending on how fried your computer is.
