Just a little something I wrote that I wanted to share. Allow me to present to you my new found "motto for those of you pondering the meaning of life... Shit happens. We may not know why, how, when or with whom, but there is nothing left to do but keep the faith. It makes next to no sense to try to control those factors which are uncontrollable. The more obstacles we face, both positively and negatively, are there to test our overall tolerance and strength. The more we are able to "hang on" to, and preserve, the stronger and more tolerant we become. I learn a hell of a lot being bound to this wheelchair. People have a habit of discrediting my intelligence sometimes, but I know a hell of a lot about challenges, and I have my Cerebral Palsy to lend credit for that. It has molded me into the strong and ambitious person I am today, and I wouldn't trade it for the world! Very true. Absorb it and begin to believe it! Oh, and just to clarify, by discredit, I meant assume that since I'm not able to get out and do as much that I am somehow lacking the intelligence to learn things about life. However, I think that it is the complete opposite; Being "stuck" sometimes teaches you more than some are capable of handling or even imagining.

Thanks for sharing that Karla. :]
I feel almost horrible to view life in such a pessimistic way, when you have so much optimism with everything that you've gone through.
