yeah. my mom texted me literally right after he was pronounced. i was out at lunch with my roommate and i told her and immediately those around us all got on their phones to try to find out if it was true. then the texts kept coming... such a sad day.  |

so sad... Most of us grew up with Michael Jackson, no matter what you think of him, he was a music icon and a huge part of our generation. |

I was never a fan but I have always appreciated and been impressed with his musicality. He always seemed to be able to evolve with the times, musically. I feel for his loved ones, but if you take in account what he has had to go through in his life (a life he hardly ever had, since he's been in showbiz nonstop since he was like 6), at least you can say he now found peace, or at least, I hope he did.
