If you were a fan of The Calling back in the day, you might remember Billy, the bassist. He is the drummer in a local Los Angeles band called War Tapes. They're going on a US tour starting June 27. I had the chance to see a little of their set in Austin at SXSW this past year and they are pretty awesome. I talked to Billy afterward and he was really surprised that I had kept track of his work after The Calling. Check 'em out if you can! I'll be at the San Antonio show.
They also were featured on the season finale of Greek this past week, if anyone watches that.
