Mixed bag of news. Minimal classes (that I have to attend), lots of fun for the next week or so, but 3 exams on consecutive days. :\
Technically, the first two are exams, and the last one is more like the SAT. Even so, I have an assessment task like half an hour after it finishes. And every single part of it counts towards my end of year score.
To top it off, classes will be running. So even though I won't be attending, chances are teachers will still be handing out information and such.
Woot for bad timetabling!
Then the day after my exam-a-thon, I have my last school formal evah. :\
It'll be great. I'm going shoe-shopping this Friday with a friend. So that should be awesome.
But yeah, the day after the formal, I have an 11AM hockey game. Which means, no post-formal sleep-in. Need to be at school at 8AM to catch the bus with the rest of the team, for the 2hr drive up.
Urgh, wish me luck.

- I'm going for vacation to Turkey in 20 days and can hardly believe it! - I've got a new admirer ... I don't even know this guy! One day he saw me, the next day I found 5 red roses on my desk at work with a card! It was VERY NICE but still .... no chemistry from my side... - Today is a big day in Poland. 20 years ago first free elections in Eastern Europe took place here! The Solidarity movement won ... and this victory resulted in the fall of communism first in my country, and then in other Eastern European countries, and then the wall in Germany fell down... I am very proud! Especially that I had a chance to live through these years and I'm still experiencing that BIG CHANGE. When I look in the past, in my childhood years... and then back when I was a teenager and I went abroad to Vienna for the first time... And now I see my country in full bloom, still changing and evolving... and seeing something that seemed impossible coming true... It really feels like a wonder! Even 10 years ago I would never expect that I will have so many great friends and that I'll meet so many wonderful people from foreign countries... and that these people will have an impact on my life! And that I'll be able to travel so much! So today at work I found an original Solidarity poster from 1989's elections and hanged it proudly on the wall in the office. It's a really cool one, with Gary Cooper dressed as a cowboy (taken from one of the most famous western movies) and with Solidarity logo. It had a deep meaning because the elections were a sort of duel between the communists and the Solidarity and everybody hoped that finally justice will win above all. AND IT DID

I am now completely done with school for the rest of my life! My family was here in Boston for a couple of days. There were concerns about swine flu going around campus, so instead of shaking hands during commencement, we had "shoulder taps" .
