more news, my friend who was in hospital is going to be released in about 3 days... his appendix did burst and they had to take out and re-construct part of his colon, he was really lucky it happened when he was in hospital and not somewhere else :S it was really shocking to see him in hospital looking all weak and stuff on Sunday. I'm so glad he's better. Jessi, that's really sad about Megan's dad My best friend in Germany lost her dad a couple years ago, it's really hard. I hope Megan will be okay.

Hah, grats to Dan for that awesome day. I'm glad your friend is getting better Jessi: That's sad to hear :\ I hope she'll be okay. Second-last game of APS softball ever today, for me :\ For once, I can honestly say that I'll miss school sport when it's over.

so, my husband & i are trying to buy a house. and this weekend, i felt like our realitor really screwed us over. we made a counteroffer to the seller's counter offer & our realitor was trying to get us to agree to their terms instead of listening to what we wanted to do. it sure didn't feel like she was looking out for our best interest. i'm really ticked as i think we could have bought the house already had she listened to us. grr!

I just saw the Disney movie "Witch Mountain." It was literally a snoozer to me (lol) I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I wouldn't rush out to see it.

I'm trying to work out how I can pay for medical school in Oklahoma. As much as I love Australia, I can't stand being here for much longer. Especially not if I have to stay at home. It's not big things, but it's little repetitive things that I just can't ignore any more. But my folks are pretty much adamant that they're not going to pay, because the only reason I can even partially justify to them involves me leaving. Apparently, my gaining independence from the family is completely unacceptable :-\
I was doing quite well in getting over my own depressive slump, I think. But I'm right back into it. Just more dangerous now, because I don't participate in risky activity any more. Just the thoughts and the depersonalization that's mine.
Eh. Now I'm just ranting.
I hope everyone's week is going well.

I finally had another job interview today, which seemed to go fairly well. I don't want to get my hopes up, or well, I would want to, but I'm afraid to get my hopes up, lol

yesterday was one of the worst days i have ever had. sometime's i really don't like being a teacher. aw, I'm sorry. I'm still undecided in the school of education at my college, but I don't know if I have what it takes to be a teacher (the patience and all). I'm like so stressed trying to figure it out lol. What ages do you teach again? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you Koen!!

Good luck, Daniel.
I got a call today that I can come in for a 2nd interview tonight. The job might not make as much as I had hoped, but I'll see how much I can get out of it if they end up offering me the job. I should have a pretty good idea of everything after this interview, I hope. Hopefully they are willing to offer enough for me to sponsor Cayte for a residence permit, if not I'll have to find something on the side. I found one or two things that might work, but I guess I'll see if those are necessary after tonight. Keep your fingers crossed.
