Secondhand Serenade!! If you like One Republic

I totally recommend Secondhand Serenade!! Especially if you like One Republic.

Apparently he (it's one guy) opened for LH in Frisco and his tracks sound like they're made by a full band, but all the guitar work and vocals is layered by just him.

He's really good He has fast tracks but I personally love his slow songs, very emotional (though sometimes a bit weak lyrically, but hey, few can top Jason). The sound is a mix between musically One Republic and vocally All-American Rejects.

I recommend the songs "Why", "Like a Knife", "Your Call", "Goodbye". Very awesome.

I really liked his debut, but his latest record is a little bland. The songs are good, just way too predictable and not up to the standard he is capable of. Nevertheless he's a very good musician.

Agreed with the demo/debut back in 2005, but I think his lyrics could use a little more depth. While the melodies are extremely catchy, the danger is not being able to distinguish one song from another immediately.

I'm surprised Secondhand Serenade's getting plenty of airplay here with It's Not Over compared to other Dashboard Confessional songs.
