Yesterday was my birthday and we went to our favorite in-door putt-putt place. We had to wait for our friends to show up and they were an hour late. Then we finally started to play, and I couldn't play well for some reason, oh well, I was still having a blast. 
Then at the final hole, you get a chance to win free pass, an ipod, or nothing... I put the ball in, and won nothing, then Rich did the same. Our friend Lizzie should have gotten up and putted after Rich, and it had been a few minutes already... then Rich started hugging me and stuff and talking about our relationship. I don't remeber what he said exactly because I was distracted by Lizzie asking, "How do you use this thing?" (she had my camera in her hands) I was thrown off more... I looked back at Rich and asked him if they were going to go ahead and do the last hole... he droped to one knee, and asked me to marry him... ;D When he asked me, I just callapsed... lol. it is something I have been wanting for so long, when he asked me, it seemed so unreal. then it sank in, and i sank to the floor. lol When the glow golf people heard, they gave us two free putt-putt passes =) woot! Glow golf rocks! =) He had my grandmother's ring that he got from my mom, and I saw that he got it seperated for me to have just the engagement ring right now. (it is a wedding set) plus the ring FIT! He had it re-sized for me too. He was originally told that he wasn't going to be able to have the ring by my birthday because it normally takes a week to have it done by. He explained that he needed it by Tuesday to know it would be ok. So they did it sooner and it looks amazing!
You guys are the only ones I can tell right now besides my family and Lizzie and her bf. We want to make sure that WE have the chance to say something first to Rich's parents instead of them hearing it from a family member of his on myspace or friends telling them. Tonight we plan to see if we can visit his parents so we can tell them the news. Once they know, I will announce it on myspace, and there will be pictures... Until then, it is our lil secret.
