So I just bought this new Olympus FE-340 camera specifically to use during concerts. I for some reason thought it would be good for that sort of thing. The problem is that it has a million different settings on it, and I cannot figure out which (if any) setting will be good for shows. I just used it at the shows I just went to and BLEH!! Almost every one is crappy. If anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it. Even if you have one that isn't Olympus but also has a million settings, let me know which one you use!!! Thanks!

aw breann i'm sorry that your new camera didn't work out. that had to have been so frustrating. for concerts i usually just use the automatic setting on my camera (i have a canon). i turn off the flash (cause i hate it, it's annoying to the performer, and i like the way the stage lights look better). i also have the option of changing the ISO, and i change it from auto to high. the photos are less blurry that way but are sometimes a little more pixilated. the other setting that seems like it would be useful but i haven't gotten to work yet is the "children and pets" setting. it's suppossed to capture motion but mine tend to be blurry for whatever reason. i haven't played around with the manual setting too much but i imagine if i learn more about that stuff i can get some better shots. i've figured out most of this through trial and error so that's the only thing i can really suggest. good luck! don't give up on the camera yet, it's probably just going to take some toying around.

Thanks so much, guys. I don't have a "children and pets" setting, but I do have a "sport" setting. That's actually what I used for some of them. Unfortunately I can't remember which pictures I used it for, lol, so that doesn't really do me much good. And I have no idea what ISO is, haha, but I'll definitely look it up. I've been using the auto setting and leaving the flash off, but for some reason on this camera when you leave the flash off it takes a longer about of time to take the picture. And it ends up blurry. Ugh. I'm definitely going to try something with the ISO, though. Thanks!!
