I wanted to try new foods this week, and I went aisle by aisle in the grocery store... among other things, I ended up buying a coconut. I've watched YouTube videos about how to crack it open. Other than that, I have no idea what to do with it. lol does any one have any suggestions about how to eat this thing?

If you ever do try to make the naan bread at home -- please tell me how it turned out and which recipe you used. It would be so awesome to be able to make indian food at home. I hope the chicken pita passed the test

So I ran into an old friend from the US the other day that I haven't seen in over 5 years....right outside my building!!! How random! I met her when I was still living in Germany while on a school exchange in Maine and we hung out a lot, and now I met her again right outside my building in Montreal Canada. I actually thought I saw her crossing the street on Friday not far from my place but I wasn't sure then if I recognized her.. Turns out I was right and it was her. So we went and watched Dark Knight together last night and had a really good time catching up. So much fun. She's living in Toronto now... gives me a reason to come down there more often

I'm spending entirely too much time on World of Warcraft...
Thank god I'm not paying for it, at least.

i didnt even feel it. it was a 5.6 in chino apparently. but hey yall... dont forget we live in california. earthquakes are nothing new to us. this wasnt a ginormous one and it rolled. which is good. we're fine. (i do believe so)
in other news, i want indian food SO badly. it is without a doubt my favorite cuisine. too bad frickin san diego doesnt have anywhere good to go. ugh.. how can a city so big with such a diverse population not have anywhere decent? boo.
