I fell asleep when NL was still leading 1-0, guess that was a smart plan, otherwise I wouldn't have seen my bed at all

Hey guys! Long time no see! I'm back from my internship at a veterinary practice in the UK, I had a great time there! But it's also good to be home again. Gosh I have a lot to catch up on on the board, I'd better get started!

So i've been doig some search to find a music college that I'd like to go to but haven't found one that has completely convinced me yet. I' am thinking about going to the college in my own province but from the feedback i got, i'm not sure if it will be worth it(moneywise) and going out and getting a job around here like for recording arts is difficult to find. So i was wondering does anyone around here know of any good music colleges?

what type of program are you looking for?
i'm going to school for music industry. we have an amazing program, but i know of some others in the states and could look for some of the ones i found in quebec.
in other news, woo! i'm seeing coldplay in 10 days!

We need a multi-quote function. Heh.Hey guys! Long time no see! I'm back from my internship at a veterinary practice in the UK, I had a great time there! But it's also good to be home again. Gosh I have a lot to catch up on on the board, I'd better get started! Welcome back rianne! I'll be heading to UK for a period of time too in the near future. Which part of UK were you at? Did you get to see Mike Finley anywhere? Haha So i've been doig some search to find a music college that I'd like to go to but haven't found one that has completely convinced me yet. I' am thinking about going to the college in my own province but from the feedback i got, i'm not sure if it will be worth it(moneywise) and going out and getting a job around here like for recording arts is difficult to find. So i was wondering does anyone around here know of any good music colleges? I've always wanted to do that. But never had enough support. I think being involved in a job that you actually have a passion at is a lot better than the usual 9-5 repititive office cubicle jobs. By the looks of it, I'm heading towards the latter though I'm sure eventually once you're out of music college and everything you'll be glad you did it? Then again I can't really tell what happens in the future. All the best to you though! On to the randomness: My friend's little brother is just too adorable.

I'm looking for a program that deals with recording studio work, you know, just stuff like that or maybe performance. But what programs do you know of? So i've been doig some search to find a music college that I'd like to go to but haven't found one that has completely convinced me yet. I''ve still haven't decided though but in a few months I'll have no choice but to pick if i want to go to the college in my province or not and if i do, i hope that once i complete that program, instead of looking for a job in recording arts around here (since it is difficult) i could maybe apply for one in the states. I'm stilling waiting for the instructor of that program to email me back anyways.

my college has an audio production minor to go along with music industry. perhaps you might be able to go that route somewhere else too? (i'm assuming you probably wouldn't want to pay international rates to go to school down this way.)
let me do some digging to find the name of the school my boyfriend suggested to me a couple years ago. it's a specialty school in montreal for the industry. i'm pretty sure it was mostly recording and management, and english too
