so yesterday was a sad day for me. i'm losing my job (yes, i did find a new one- a teaching job. ) but at the same token, i had to take down my son't pics and my LH pics in my office and i started getting tears in my eyes. i think half was because i'm leaving and the other half was having to box up my pics.

I am having a great day today! this morning, I woke up and found out that I'd left the radio on. I was about to turn it off but then I heard the dj say "keep listening because before the hour's up, we have your chance to win tickets to see 3 doors down, Hinder, and Finger Eleven in September". So, long story short, I called in to try and win, not really expecting to, and the very first time I got through, I was the 50th caller, which is what you had to be to win. So I freaked out and I'm really excited right now because this is going to be my first concert ever! I really wish it was LH instead, but oh well... I'm still happy. ;D

I just got out of school for the summer and well, I've done pretty good. I still have to wait until I get my final mark for Biology since it was a public course but as of right now, my overall average is 88.

ughh. i'm exhausted. i had to wake up way too early this morning to go with my dad and brother to move the rest of my stuff out of my house up at school. did i go to bed early last night so i'd be well rested? of course not. it was so hot and so tiring and ugh. my sister is having a bday party here at the house tonight so everyone is going crazy trying to get ready for that. meanwhile, i have to work tonight which is the last thing i want to do. i really wanted to go to the intern reunion for my awesome internship that i did last summer but now i have to work so i can't go . i was so excited for it too. so now i'm tired and have to go to work on 2 hours of sleep when i could be at the party seeing friends i haven't seen all year. i try to keep reminding myself about how much fun next week/weekend will be but i'm just frustrated.

i didn't mean to come on here and rant...i guess i just needed to vent to someone

Sorry about your job Jolene, but I'm glad you've found a new one. I felt the same way when I left the workforce to be a SAHM and had to pack up my desk. It was so sad!

Rants: too many to list.

Raves: hella mega deals at Target (free ice cream anyone?!), baby figuring out how to smile and coo, "only" 20 more pounds to lose and having energy to clean the house finally after a week of not cleaning.
