yah i waited for 12 hours for them yesterday, onlt to find out this morning that the site person suposedly "got the dates wrong"....that to me is half bull, because of the fact a moderator came in and right back out twice, without saying a word....how does she explain that i wonder?

this whole thing is really weird...like one major cover-up or something...i personally don't even think they told the guys, and then realized it at the last second so now they have to just make up some excuse. cause that mod coming and leaving is weird and all the promotion for july just adds to my suspicion.

Well, I joined the club because I thought it would be fun. I had fun yesterday in the chat even though Lifehouse never showed up to answer my pithy questions, so I'm happy.

I am frequently dismayed by the amount of anger and unhappiness people show over things that JUST DON'T MATTER! I'm sure that we'll get some sort of really super-de-duper replacement chat now and maybe it'll even be when I'm not working!

Even though Maureen is gloating, I'd still like to see her in the flamingo costume.

It's not that it doesn't matter.. it's the fact that we paid $40 for this club and they have totally dropped the ball. I don'd mind paying money, but I want to get what I paid for.

Personally, I'm not buying the put it on the calendar the following week excuse... I plan events in my job and there's just no way that could happen unless I was paying zero attention to what I was supposed to be doing.

Hopefully they'll make it right and start taking the LH Club more seriously, but they have not made a very good first impression.

I can't say that I believe the excuse either, unless the company that is running the fan club pays absolutely NO attention to the site (always a possibility). It DOES leave a very bad impression. I sent an email expressing my concerns after the aborted chat yesterday. One point that I made was that the very people who could have talked up the club and encouraged others to join are now feeling that perhaps they made a bad choice. The best thing the club could do right now is extend the membership period of the current members until next August AND send us all an extra special something in with our membership packets (which, by the way, they promised within our year of membership - NOT immediately). I just don't see the point of getting too upset until we see how things pan out.

Yes, Michele, I know it matters to you and I don't like to be ripped off, but I'm not going to fly off the handle - YET! You know I can if I need to!! Anyway, you worked all day and I worked all day, so either your dad or the cat should make dinner - you choose.
