I suck at the 80s. Can you guys recommend any albums that are still good today? The only albums that I liked fully are Daydream Nation, Graceland, The Joshua Tree and Thriller. even if it's well known, say it anyways.
only albums released in the 80s please. any genres. And I would prefer it if you yourself loved the album.

I spent most of the 1980's with too many other things to buy (food, car, house, baby supplies), so didn't acquire much music. However, I DID watch a lot of MTV (thanks to aforementioned baby and her horrible sleep patterns) and bought the things I really liked later in life.
I agree with The Joshua Tree and Ghost in the Machine.
I would add Synchronicity by the Police (1983) and Songs From the Big Chair by Tears for Fears (1985).
Sadly enough, that's all I've felt a need to acquire from that decade.

I have always enjoyed the album Look Sharp! by Roxette. I also like a lot of Bon Jovi's stuff. And Def Leppard (I'm not sure when the album Hysteria came out, but that's the one I'm talking about). I guess I'm not much help when it comes to albums, lol. However, I do really like 80's music...unfortunately it's a lot of random songs instead of entire albums. Oh, and I also like the Phil Collins album called Hits. I'm not sure if all the songs on there are 80's, but a lot of them are.
