On Sunday, as many of you know, Katie and I went to Matt's acoustic radio show near Atlanta on Sunday afternoon before flying out of Atlanta on Sunday night. It was so nice to see him outside of opening for LH. Since I saw him on Friday night, I decided to take some video and for me, the banter and discussion before the songs is the most interesting to watch later..... He played a 10 song set, and I missed the first song...but got all of the banter with the VERY drunk guy before every other song. They are worth a look! Setlist:Lucky Boy Car Crash Gone Princess-Jessi’s Girl-Princess Come On Get Higher To The Beat of Our Noisy Hearts Falling Apart Suspended Answering Machine All We Are My videos:02 Car Crash (snippet) 03 Gone (snippet) 06 To The Beat of Our Noisy Hearts (snippet) 07 Falling Apart (snippet) www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSH3Q5-Qu3U04 Princess-Jessi’s Girl-Princess (partial) www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVcU8BAYC-005 Come On Get Higher (full song) www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DKXCIKsqdw08 Suspended (full song) www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAWeB-GT1Ls09 Answering Machine (full song) www.youtube.com/watch?v=LG_XrdIWRlc10 All We Are (full song) www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmd3gFpIZyUI hope you have fun with these....in one of the videos, I pan left and you will see very drunken guy dancing with a silent, but very drunk older lady (in green sweater). Have fun!

I have a question concerning Matt Nathanson. Well, not really concerning him...more concerning me. lol. Anyway...I am attending one of Matt's show next week, and I was wondering if anyone had any idea how early I should get to the venue to get a good spot. There are two other bands playing. I don't remember the name of one of them, but the other is The Spill Canvas. I'm not sure how popular they are, but I don't think they are all that popular. Any ideas?

Hmm, the show starts at 8pm and as of now, weather.com says that it's supposed to be sunny and 74. However, Indiana weather is pretty unpredictable, so it could very easily be raining instead. lol. I'm kinda nervous about the whole thing anyway b/c I have to drive there and back alone. I'm absolutely horrible with directions and I'm used to having someone navigate for me. Uuuugh. lol.

Breann...I am not so sure since I have not yet had the pleasure of going to a headlining show. I can say that most of the people in the front of the lines in Dallas and Knoxville for the LH/MN shows were there to see LH. It may have been a little different at the WA shows though (I was not in the lines there)..since Matt seems to be more well known up there. Maybe Jason (jktang) can give you a better idea? He follows Matt quite closely. The free show in Atlanta attracted a ton of people on less than a week's notice...Katie and I arrived 30 minutes before the opening peformer and had no problem finding a nice spot....but, I'm not sure this show counts as a good indication. We could have been right in front of the stage if we had wanted to, but the stage was so high, that our necks would have been sore for days and our best view would have been up his nostils.

Wow...who wouldn't want a view up his nostrils??? I'd pay good money for that! Hahaha jk.
Thanks for the info, guys. I think I might just plan to get there an hour or so early. It's not extremely important to me to get RIGHT up front, but I'd like to at least be somewhere where I could have a good view.
