I’m just curious if the Ozwald excitement remains for you guys?
I mean, I’m still looking forward to hearing the full album & it appears it will be a very “cohesive” one at that, but I personally cannot wait until this experiment is over.

I'm just happy Jason is writing and releasing more music. I honestly don't care if it's under the name Lifehouse or Ozwald or some other name.

I agree with Klein. Whatever is floating his boat artistically can only be viewed as a good thing. I think ozwald could surprise people. It’s not Lifehouse, but the songs are really well crafted.

I think Lifehouse stays Lifehouse. The sound we all know them. Like they always did. Don't compare Jason's work with Lifehouse. Whatever Jason is writing for. Ozwald, his own name, or anything else, but not Lifehouse, can be completely different. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, like the Winzlo EP. If he's not writing for Lifehouse he can try new things. Things that doesn't fits in the style of Lifehouse. But i actually really like Ozwald so far. Lifehouse is still keeping us updated about upcoming shows. They even changed the setlist and played a few old songs and trying something else on the setlist. Maybe they already working on some new stuff. But maybe it can take a long time before we hear new stuff from them. What i'm trying to say is. Jason is trying something new and fresh on some projects, but Lifehouse is still active.

Yeah i don’t disagree at all that they’re all uniquely their own...that’s exactly why I’m excited for what comes after Ozwald. This is all unique and yes well-crafted but after a few songs I already feel I’ve had enough personally. I just really prefer the Lifehouse and “solo” stuff compared to Ozwald.
It seems like this concept is here to stay for a while tho given his own label backing, t shirts, etc... doesn’t seem like a one-and-done thing or anything like that.
I’m glad he’s having fun and being creative haha I just wish I was enjoying it as much as he is!

Personally I feel like any of the Ozwald or Solo Jason songs could have just as well been released under the Lifehouse brand. They all sound like Jason's writing. If you listen to some of the more recent LH records the sound has varied a bit between records so I don't really see such a huge difference between any of these projects. At the end of the day it still sounds like Jason, which makes it still sound like LH. The "new LH" doesn't sound like the old LH either and we still call it Lifehouse. This new Ozwald project or the one that came before it could have been released as a new LH album and the band would have given their usual "we're trying a new sound" explanation and that would have been it. Just my opinion. I think if anything they are releasing them under different names to not piss off the loyal LH fans for straying too far away from NNF

Oh man. I totally disagree on that one. The writing may be similar enough lyrically, but stylistically I don’t see Ozwald as being even close to a sound Lifehouse would put on a record.

Their cover of Queen’s “We Are The Champions” is up now. It’s...okay. Probably my least favorite of what’s been released.

Liking this one so far... it's a softer and slightly eerie song. Production is a little muddy but I like it on first listen! I'm curious who's doing the originals album art thus far, because they're pretty off-the-wall and cool.

The song is really good, I agree with Robert the production is a bit muddy. This could be on purpose though, to give it that hi-fi indie sound. Dunno, but I like it.

Ooo where did you find that Daniel? Seems unfinished to me, and my least favourite so far by far (with the exception of the cover covers lol). Really hoping for a Technicolour Sky art style; love the circus vibe on it when hearing these tracks.
