I never end up being 'involved' in chats like that anyway, so a transcript will certainly suffice.

I posted it just so the public could make an informed decision about whether to join the club and also to notify any members bout it..
I am not a member as I am not eligible to join..

I agree w/ what everyone said. I joined the club and I can tell you it's pretty dead over there. Oh well. I'll be sure to take part and ask questions outside the typical lifehouseclub member would ask "Where did you come up w/ HBAM/You and Me/First Time?"
You better believe I will be asking about "Crash and Burn"

hmmm...yeah I'm not paying $40 for a membership. #1 because I can't waste $40 on something that will provide with nothing and #2 My parents only give me money for things I need such as food and other essentials. A fan club is something I do not need. blah the hell with over priced fan clubs!

I just wanna see how it'll work out first, before I decide if I join or not. In principle I actually like the idea, as long as it's an extra for the fans, and doesn't get in the way of the already existing 'mechanics'. It should come on top of what we already get, not make part of that exclusive. So if they can live up to that, I might join, even though I think $40 is kind of a lot, especially for a band who just starts with a fanclub. I mean, it'd be okay if it were for 5 years or longer, but it's kind of a lot to pay per year. But ah well, I understand that it's a business risk, so they wanna have some financial security (the fanclub people). So I'll probably decide in a year or so.. I'll give it some time to develop first and then I'll form my final opinion and decide if I'll join or not.

I'm in two other fan clubs and their yearly total TOGETHER is $25 (Pearl Jam=$15, and R.E.M.=$10), and those bands are light years ahead in terms of musical accomplishments than Lifehouse. Not only do they keep the costs down, but you get an annual single, first crack at tickets, and newsletters. I hope Lifehouse looks at those clubs and takes their ideas.

I loathe this whole fan club thing, I think I made that clear when we first found out about it. The problem is, I don't want to miss out on anything, but I also don't want to be a hypocrite.
Hmph. I don't know what to do.
