Ben doesn't tend to come to the acoustic things (but sometimes he does... I don't understand the methods to their madness, maybe if he's tired that day he doesn't go ) Ben's become like a fucking rockstar these days - impossible to get to him! See Jason? Sure, I can do that! Get to Ben?! HA! <3 haha, its completely opposite with me. jason is impossible to get to see. out of 4 shows, i've talked to Ben and Bryce 3 times, Rick 2, and Jason only once...and that was a meet and greet setup.

Hey, for any of you ATL concert goers - this is on the Q100 website:
"Win a pair of tickets plus EXCLUSIVE BACKSTAGE VIP Passes to Lifehouse at Chastain Park Amphitheatre on July 31st! Plus, check them out at the special Q100 acoustic performance on July 30th at the Best Buy in Alpharetta from 6pm-8pm!"
I don't know when they'll be giving them away? But you can call and see! I was wondering if anyone was promoting / sponsoring the Best Buy show and now I have my answer.

this is kristi on katie's screen name..
we just got home, it was pretty cool. they played the three big singles and "SIB" and then signed for everyone. We didnt really ralk about anything with them - I asked about the hilary duff tour and they kind of all looked at eachother and did a half smile and said they had to play to all different demographics and i was like.. okay, i understand that, but OPENING? and Jas said she's bigger than us and i was like really... and bryce was like "its not a whole tour.. we cant just play to the same people all the time" and we took a pic and that was basically it. Christy has our group pic and we have a few of our own which I will upload when I get home.
There are a few other random things that happened but i cant type on this keyboard well so i'll let katie tell u or i'll tell you when i get home.

Well, this is actually me. And my full review. So, we got there a little late (My fault). Kristi and I were kind of freaking out because we wanted a decent spot. We went to the back of the line, anyway, there were about 50-60 people in front of us by then. I wasn't happy. After about 5 min. of standing in line, Christy (TweeTwee) approached us and we talked for a while. It was really great. Then, Christy, Kristi, and I went into the Best Buy to buy the Who We Are CD's that we had to have signed to get to talk to them. So we did that, and it was extremely confusing because we thought that they would have given the wristbands out with the purchase, but that wasn't really how they did it. They gave everyone who was standing outside a wristband (or almost everyone), but they said you still needed the CD to talk to them, so the point of the wristbands is still lost on me, but whatever, I think Kristi will be able to explain that whole debacle better than I can. Anyway, We waited outside for about 1 hour to an hour and a half. I did get to hear a little bit of the soundcheck, but only because I like snuck behind the shelves and pretended to look and Nintendo DS stuff, but then I had to leave after like 30 sec. because the staff was kind of glaring at me. When we were finally allowed in (at 20 at a time) we were all herded in between shelves and stuff. Kristi and I were beside the X-Box stuff. My mom (who drove us), needed to get my brother some stuff for his x-box, so it was kind of cool that we were there. There were a large ammount of tall and frankly uninterested people in front of us, but I got a good spot anyways and took some pretty decent video and pictures (despite the fact that one guy actually YAWNED during the preformance and his elbow jutted way out in the video). When the guys took the stage, Bryce like sat in such an angle that a wide-screen TV was completely blocking him from view. So, no Bryce. But I had a really clear view of Jason and Rick. Jason mentioned that his ADD was acting in overdrive because of all the TV's and lights. He also pointed out that he really liked this person's shirt that said "I love my weiner" and had a picture of one of those weiner-dogs (AKA Dachshunds) on it.
They played (and I'm like 98% sure this is in the right order) 1. Somewhere in Between 2. First Time 3. You and Me 4. Hanging By a Moment
Somewhere in there Jason asked the crowd if we had any questions for them, so I shouted "Will you play Beast of Burden?" and jason said "Oh...you like that one?" but I couldn't really answer properly because people all around were yelling things like "Play Everything!!" Play "Hanging by a Moment!"
The band laughed and Jason said "What? We don't play that song!!" and then he amended, "I assure you we will play Hanging by a Moment."
After the preformance, they took a little break and we were supposed to cue up for the autograph signing. Who We Are Was on repeat so Kristi and I just did little half-dances while sitting down on the ground, somehow we ended up completely separated from the line and so we decided that maybe we should risk walking to the very back instead of trying to re-merge with the line. Luckily, we found Christy and her mom and we stood with them.
When we finally got up to the Autograph table, Jason looked at me and said "Oh, I remember you!" and Rick said "Your the one that wanted Beast of Burden!" that thrilled me beyond belief. When Jason saw Kristi, he smiled really big and asked how she was doing. She said good but that she had a question.
"Why are you guys opening for Hilary Duff???" Jason kind of looked at rick and laughed and said something about Hilary having a lot more people there then at headlining shows, and that they couldn't just play for the same demographic...or something along those lines. Bryce popped in with a "It's not even a full tour, just 7 shows."
Then we told them that we loved the Rick song, and Jason said "OH! The one with "give me your drumstick" and we nodded. He then leaned way over and hugged rick around the shoulders for a while. We then took pictures with them. There was a security lady that kind of freaked out and yelled "Don't stand behind the band!!!" to which Kristi muttered "I'm not going to stab them..." and the guys laughed. Christy and Kristi stood beside/behind Bryce and I stood with Rick (again).
I think that just about covers everything. Kristi will go over it and inform you if I missed anything, otherwise, this is goodnight!
