I've lived in Boston for the last 5 years, and I didn't know there was something particular about pizza from Boston.

Pff, the 'end' of the "Gentlemen's DIY construction weekend" .. 4 of us (in my student house) decided it was time to DIY create an audio surround system in the living room, setup a web/ftp/mail/php server and include a network printer to our home network. And also cut out a decent doormat out of fabric (or whatever you call that stuff), and making some furniture (tv furniture, a dresser kinda thing for the server & printer and some other stuff, and a shelved(?) furniture thing for drinking glasses and other crap).. we're pretty much done with about 70% of it and we intend to do the rest tomorrow, but i'm so worn out from 2 days of actually really hard work, lol. But ah well, it's worth it once everything works perfectly.

as long as you don't run in too many complications it's fun, but I've been having a load of trouble with our network when I was working on the webserver, so that really got annoying after awhile.. I'm gonna have to test all that tomorrow, since I have to work today. But the surround system works quite well, so we're all proud of that. We even extended it to the kitchen, hehe. We're about to leave for the furniture shopping soon I think, I just hope I don't have to carry too much as my back is killing me.

yeah, lots of carrying, bending your body, holding things while others screw them in place, etc. and not sitting in the right position for several hours, etc. seems to not really do well on your back.. it's getting better though. We picked out some good furniture, real cheap and they deliver it on thursday. So tomorrow, wednesday & thursday left to fix everything, and we should have a great multimedia (video, audio & digital/internet/network) livingroom

Wow, things started happening really fast in my life! First I became a driver, and last Friday I was found in the net by a headhunter, who called me yesterday to present a job offer, and today he called again and said I am invited to a job interview this Friday! So I haven't found a new job, the new job is trying to find me. So far it sounds mysterious, and rather boring for someone like me, because it has to do with the world of finance and usage of credit cards, and I prefer something more inspirational and creative, but I guess I have to try my luck. Oh, and I guess I was too optimistic when this guy asked me about my knowledge of German language... I used to be good, but now I found I forgot so many things and I only have two days to improve!

Hey guys, I've been kind of MIA during the past few weeks. Its finals week for me and I've been staying up all night blah blah the whole thing. I had a horrible weekend which involved 12 hours of driving back and forth from grand rapids to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Also, I have a funeral today at 11. One of my really really good friend's dad passed away this weekend and its really shocked my entire group of friends. Not to mention my friend Paul is in complete shock and completely torn up. So, if anyone could please keep him and his family in your prayers I would appreciate it a lot. My week has been long and stressful, I can't wait for it to end.

I am sorry about your friend/his dad. I hope everything gets better for you. I haven't been on much either these past couple weeks.... but I'm getting cable next week so we'll be able to talk again hopefully. Hope your finals went well too.
