i am so sleep deprived. i've had so much work to do this week. i had a paper due today, a huge research project and presentation to prepare for tomorrow, and i need to write a midterm for friday. luckily my prof was nice enough to give me an extension, it was technically due today. i got all of 1.5 hours of sleep last night and only about 3 the night before. it was all totally worth it though, cause i got to see we the living monday night in nyc. i'll give up a night of sleep to see them perform anytime. it was amazing. and they really are some of the nicest guys i've ever met. memories of that show and anticipation for the lh ones are the only things that are keeping me going right now. oh i can't wait until friday.

I had to call my doctor because the stupid medicine that he told me to take was doing nothing! Now I have better stuff! Yay! My altra-sound on my leg is today. Hopefully I will know what the problem is soon.

nah, it's all a matter of training, lol
though it seems people who chronically skip nights/hardly sleep tend to have more risk on heart & vain conditions

I wouldn't be surprised if I do develop heart conditions. Definitely not taking care of my health at all... The worst lesson you can learn from procrastination is when your Word programme decides to screw you over at 6 in the morning. I just lost several documents that I was working on for my assignment (due in a few hours)! dsahfkjaslfashdlfkjsld.

i try not to do it too often. sometimes it's just inevitable. i am an incredible napper though, if i do say so myself. this week was bad, but i totally knew it was going to happen. spring break, then sick last week, then easter weekend, then the concert. there wasn't really much i could have done to prevent it. sometimes i think my professors make me all their assignments due at once on purpose. but the concert high helped

Good news. I got results back from some of my tests... I do NOT have diabitis, nor am I border-line! Also... no blood clot. I had my veins checked today... I need to go tomorrow for my arteries to be checked in my legs.

Wow today sucks. I went to the doctor cause I haven't been feeling to well lately, and he said that it's allergies (despite the fact that I don't have anything) so I'm still coughing and have a stuffy nose and feel like a fool for going, then stupid kinko's totally ripped me off and made me pay 50 bucks to get a paper blown up into poster size, then i got my first college rejection letter. On top of that, I'm stressed out completely about school and the crapload of work i have to do in the next 2 days. at least i got my lifehouse concerts coming up...
*end of rant*

nah, it's all a matter of training, lol though it seems people who chronically skip nights/hardly sleep tend to have more risk on heart & vain conditions well I'm 21 and I can't pull off no sleep! But I know that how chronically skipping sleep/no sleep will affect your heart. Some of my friends like to make fun of me for having a set sleep schedule. I get at least 8 hours a sleep each night and I eat healthy. Heart disease and diabetes runs on my mom's side and high blood pressure on my dad's. My dad had a stroke 4 years ago (It wasn't bad), but it was what really pushed me to start living a more healthy life style. I figure, I'm in my 20s. My mom's side have develop health problems at a young age. They say that how you live in your 20s will have an impact on your health later in life. So now, my stomach is weak when it comes to what I call "bad food." But I don't get it...my boyfriend says that I get sick on food because "I don't eat right." UUUH NOOO! I get sick on fast foods, greasy foods loaded with crap. I don't get sick when I eat foods that are good for you. So, does he make sense? I can't keep down Taco Bell because "I don't eat right?" He says that I'm wrong in how...I love fruits and veggies. I don't eat red meat, I HATE pork, I don't drink soda....Oh yeah and I would have no problem being a vegetarian because I don't really like meat. So thats how I "don't eat right."

Well, actually, he does have a point. You get sick because your stomach's not used to (much of) that food. But a human diet is supposed to exist of various kinds of meats, vegetables, nuts, fruits, and eggs/lactose (butter/cheese, etc.).
However, there's currently (started like 15-25 years ago) an evolutional shift towards a more fiber-rich diet (bread, vegetables, nuts, etc.) with a smaller amount of (still various kinds of) meats and a set amount of the eggs/lactose category.
Vegetarians and veganists are known to miss certain hormones that help a human being develop and grow. Some veganists say that that's normal because they don't get the growing hormones that are in meat, and that we shouldn't. But medical science has proven that we miss vital strength if we chronically stop eating meat. It seems good to be aware of what meat and how much meat you eat, but to disregard it completely looks to be quite unhealthy. If we look to a human's morphology and anatomy it also shows that we are built to eat a various diet, including meat.
I could go into this a lot deeper, and have done so many times, as it is a hot topic of discussion in my line of education, but I'll stick to this for now, lol.
Oh, by the way, I'm not against vegans or vegetarians, I just don't agree with it, based on scientific evidence. If people decide to want to be a vegan or vegetarian, that's fine with me and I won't try to tell them not to do that, but I do think they should be aware of the scientific evidence that goes with the territory.
