March is turning out to be truly spectacular....I just learned that Katie (my daugther) was accepted to Texas A&M University for the Fall semester. This has weighed heavily on both our minds in that she applied last September! Life IS good!

I hope you both have a relaxing Spring Break. One week off can definitely help to re-charge your batteries. I guess the key is to get relaxed ASAP and savor it! lifehouse tomorrow, boyfriend tonight, weekend. pretty nice set of things goin for me. wow.... everyone is having good times! hope it stays this way. My boyfriend has a part-time job where he goes to parties and sets up game systems for the kids to play. He has work today and has to take Rockband to the party. He never played it before and had a few hours to kill, so he stopped by and we played Rockband. I tried playing the drums thinking I could do it because I played drums at one time, but its hard! I guess I don't have the hand/eye/foot coordination. So I stuck to guitar. It was fun because of the different instruments, but I still like guitar hero better.

I'm surprising myself tonight.. I think I'm a little drunk/tipsy since I got back from going out tonight. (and when I tried to open the door with my key, my key broke off, but luckily my brother heard the door bell / he was just home himself, lol / and I was able to get the broken off part out of the keyhole), but so far I've only seen myself make 2 typos, which is not too bad with my alcohol-clouded mind, lol. (I didn't even drink that much, but apparently I'm really not used to alcohol anymore after a long time not drinking)

Alcohol doesn't necessarily cloud the mind...I remember one time I drank, came home, and worked on a paper for school. The next day I read over what I wrote and it sounded great. Another time, I drank while bowling and bowled the best game. I normally suck at bowling, but that night I was mediocre. haha go figure!

Alcohol still causes a chemical imbalance in the mind, even if you are feeling nothing. Doesn't mean that you can't be creative or get results in something. Alcohol, in some cases, can even stimulate physical features, like for a short time you can run faster, or in your case bowl better, though if you run faster, you'll be way more out of breath than normally, etc. (hehe, sometimes those scientific magazines have some topics that are interesting )

Koen, A broken lock is a comfort, no? ;D I'm loving march right now. I'm leaving my job next week to go back to school full time. I'm very excited. I also got to see Lifehouse this month, for the "first time" hehe ;D

Ugh, I'm in such a weird predicament right now. I checked my email last night and got a facebook message from this kid in my psych class asking me to go to prom with him. The only problem is, I don't talk to him... ever. Like I really have never had a conversation with him. I don't know what to say back to him. I don't want to say no, because what if i can't find anyone else to go with, so then I'm stuck dateless. But at the same time, it would be really akward going with him, since I never really talked to him.

If it was me, I would say no thanks. I can't imagine going to prom with someone I don't even know. Especially since it's supposed to be such a memorable experience. ya know? But are any of your girl friends dateless? You guys can just go in a group. That's what I did for many formals. Just a thought. Good luck.
