I finished "American Rust" by Philipp Meyer.. Loved that book and I recommend! Now I'm reading "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami.. A book full of mysteries, alluring enigmas, love, friendship... I'm really enjoying this book!

Reviving this thread to ask: Has ayone on here read The Hunger Games Trilogy? I read it a while ago and loved that series. I've re-read it multiple times and my best friends and I always talk about it. The trailer for the first movie is premiering on Monday, and I'm super excited for it (and the movie) so I was just curious if anyone else on here has read it. I just read this post and got real excited lol. I have indeed read them and looooooved them and hated them at the same time. What an awful concept huh? I'm super excited for the movie to come out next month. I'm even looking forward to seeing the trailer on tv for the first time. I haven't read anything since reading these books.

Stieg Larsson : The girl who played with fire . So far a bit more exciting than the previous one from the Millenium trilogy

I just started part 3 of the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson. I started reading the first book when the hype surrounding it was at its peak. That's probably why it was a little disappointing at first. I do think the books are pretty good, I just set my expectations too high. Overall, I would recommend them (at least the first two books, haven't finished the last one yet). They're an enjoyable read.

I was a bit disappointed with the first one because there was not much happening in the beginning and I already started to wonder what's that whole noise around these books about, but it got much better in the second half of the book. I love the one I'm reading right now, there's more tension and challenge for the mind
