I had the worst day ever. My car decided to die at a really busy intersection this morning. My emergency lights wouldn't work and people are very mean. I sat there freaking out for a good 20 minutes until some cops finally showed up and blocked off traffic so they could push my car into a parking lot. I'm 5'2 theres no way I could do it. So thank God for cops! And then I had to walk forever to a store and I tried to buy a new battery for my car but the ATM hated me and wouldn't give me any money. But my boyfriend rescued me. I hate making emergency calls to him at work but his boss was really nice and let him come save me. AND he even changed the batter for me and paid for it.
So I ended up missing my last classes for the semester until finals next week, which really sucks. I hope my Profs understand.
Man, what a day!

aww jessi  bummer. i hope your holidays gets better from here. well, i finally faced my demons and confronted various people about various things. soon as we come back from the summer hols, i will also be regularly going to my counsellor. hopefully, things are on the up and up from here! |

Ugh, I just had the shittiest day at work. I'm not allowed to work more than 8 hours a day cause I'm a minor, but we had soo much work that I ended up staying 10 hours, and left before we were even close to being done. Plus, I had like 3 people yell at me because the chefs screwed up, and one lady was just so mean, it was ridiculous. And she demanded to the manager who doesn't come in on Saturdays nad got even more mad, and took it out on me.

i'm in san francisco for the weekend (again) and i loooooove it up here. especially during the holiday season, everything is soooo nice. i also went to a radio show on friday and ended up getting trampled in the pit. ughhh. i'm getting too old for that! hahah. jimmy eat world was AMAZING...they seriously owned the show. spoon was also really good but i was really annoyed when they came on because that was right after i got trampled...i think i'll just have to go see them again everyone else was either okay or bad  |

i had a fun day in nyc today. it was very cold but still nice, especially central park. we went to the museum of natural history where i overheard a woman telling her child, "look at the giant flying turtle dinosaur!" umm, no lady. that's just a giant turtle fossil hanging from the ceiling. that doesn't mean it flew. i found it hilarious and sad all at the same time. it was pretty cool though because the same turtle fossil was found in either south america or africa (i forget) by the head researcher at the place where i was an research intern this summer. it made me really excited. and turtles are awesome ;D

Next term is my turn to study immunology. thanks! the final wasn't tooo bad, a few tricky ones but that was to be expected. very cool subject though, you'll enjoy it! i definitely learned a lot. and there's the possibility that i may get a lab tech job in an immunology research lab next year. we'll see. |
