Hey I thought Id list some of the crazy BUT effective ways to promote lifehouse across the WWW.
1.) Go on to youtube and find the video with the most views (Paris in Jail 7 million plus, Avril Grilfriend video 6 million plus, Silverchair 1 million plus views) and post a message promoting lifehouse their album and single.... I loved this idea. lol Well its getting the most views so why not put a post in there
2.) Go to youtube and visit the most viewed videos and put a 'video response (uploading and using the lifehouse first time video' to the most watched video on Youtube. Haha Guaranteed views of the new single!!!!!!
What a genius!!
Any thoughts?

i like the 2nd one, hehe
playing all the songs on the official lifehouse myspace like 10 times a day, and for sure if we all do that, they'll rise high in the ranks there = feature on the homepage
design your own poster and put it on poster boards/bulletin boards, busstops, etc. (if you live in a student community/campus, you have plenty of places to put it there too)
write a review of the album, and post it on last.fm and link it to artist, album, songs, and related artists albums & songs
Go to every local CD store and ask them if they have the new album, let all your friends do the same, they will think there's a lot of people wanting it and they'll order it, and it'll end up in the store. Once it's in the store it'll eventually be sold.
Make an e-mail chain with people who live closeby and e-mail the same radio stations at least 3 times a day, requesting first time. And make sure you don't e-mail all at the same time, but like if you are three people, you can make shifts of an hour, or two hours.
Go to messageboards from artists you like and post a short message in the off-topic/other music forum about it, and ask for opinions by others, and give your own opinion in a few lines. Don't forget to mention the artist whose board you are visiting, so that the others don't think you're just spamming.

Well, mine isn't as intense but since really none of my friends listen to Lifehouse (I try, I swear) I like to put parts of their lyrics (usually of the song I'm currently listening to) as my away message on aim so people will see them, like the lyric and google it to find out more about it. I've gotten people telling me they like some songs I had up their, so that's my small lame way  Oh, and of course the classic moving Lifehouse to the front of the CD rack in stores. |

i just randomly make people listen to LH songs on my mp3 player ... or i randomly start singing LH.. and then they wonder what im singing and im like "DUDE LIFEHOUSE!!!!" and then i usually get "who, lighthouse?" as a response. lol.
But so far I got my co-worker/roomie addicted to The Joke and he likes the other stuff too.

It works wonders... you'd be surprised. They resent the hell out of it but they walk out humming HBAM and (insert another catchy song here) so it's all worth it in my eyes... and Jack Bauer's eyes.
