Will this album EVER be released? I've been waiting for so long. I know that Jason wants to concentrate on Lifehouse now but if it's all written, why not release it and spoil us fans a little? Also, do you guys know if it's all new songs and not old ones (like Stand, Just to be where you are, etc..)? Can someone please ask if this album will ever see the light of day if you see him on tour?

Koen and I were just talking about this yesterday, and I think there will be copyright issues w/ this getting released. I don't know if Jason is in the same spiritual place he was when he wrote this---so I have my doubts that it will ever see the light of day.

I think if it will ever be released it will be an independent release, but it might be part of the deal with Geffen that he doesn't release it, or at least not now, so that they can procure the current image of the band.
This however is speculating

Thanks very much for your input, guys. I'm saddened but I'll still be hoping.
I don't want to pry too much into Jason's personal life, but it feels as if he's expressing less of his spiritual side through his songs lately. Most of the new songs on WWA seem to be love songs about his wife or his dad (esp the bonus songs). Of course, just because he hasn't written anything spiritual doesn't mean his faith has changed and I definately don't want to make assumptions. Maybe he just wants Lifehouse to be portrayed less of a "Christian band". Or more likely, the new material just happens to concentrate on different things and that it wasn't a deliberate intention to write mostly about secular stuff.
But here's to hoping for a release of Mr. Tumnus one day!

Songs like Disarray, Make Me Over, Mesmerized, & I'll Keep The Change could be interpreted as struggling with faith. Especially Disarray & Make Me Over. (However, this is just speculating again, I don't say it is, but I could see it that way).
However, on Broken & Learn You Inside Out (as well as Storm, but that's an old song) there are clues to spirituality..
So I dunno. It does seem to me like Jason is focusing (at least to the outside world) on more worldy stuff lately.

Oh yes, most definately, it's one of my favorite songs off of WWA. I guess I meant that the overall general feeling of the new album is less spiritual. For me, NNF had a lot of religious references, SCF had quite a few but everything after that is less blatant. But yes, Disarray could definately be interpreted as spiritual searching.
