Hey there, welcome to B-sides, Ruth.
I saw your s/n on the official site a few times. Good to see you found your way over here. About meeting the band, I'm probably not the best person to give you advice as I have never had the chance to meet them. (most of the shows I went to, Jason was sick, so they hardly came out, and the last one in Mansfield, MA, they left right away to go to NYC for the Regis & Kelly taping).
But if you see them coming out and talk to people, basically, you can just walk up to them, ask them to sign something or tell them it was a good show. They'll probably ask your name and where you're from, or something like that, and you could just take it from there. And based on what people tell me, they're really laid-back and easy to talk to. (Though I probably wouldn't know what to say). I talked to them once on the phone, and I kinda tripped over my words back then (also, because it was like 4am my time, so I wasn't fully awake, lol). So yeah, I think it's just a matter of giving it a go and talk to them.
And if you're a member of the fanclub, I'm not entirely sure how the meet&greets go. I think if you signed up for the fanclub, you get a notice or something, and you can get like a wristband or a sticker, or whatever they might use, at the show that you're going to. I'm really not sure.

The first time I met them was after one of their shows a few years ago. They had a meet and greet type thing where you had to buy their cd then you got a wristband. The guys came out and sat at a table and signed album covers, I was really nervous and didn't say much though. This summer we saw them walking around the casino in Atlantic City while we were there for their last show. No one else was around so we kind of just walked up and started talking to them. They signed some stuff and we got a picture. It was a little nerve-wrecking but the guys are all SUPER nice, next time just go up and say hi! |

Wow I missed them on Regis and Kelly bummer! Thanks for the tips on meeting them. Like Ruth said we were way too chicken and at the time we weren't sure who Ben was and didn't want to seem like an arse LOL.
