Ugh today is very depressing, I just found out my brother might have cancer. If anyone here prays, please pray for my family.
Edit: Also, I got the job at Charlotte Russe like 20 minutes ago so now I have 2 jobs and in a month I will be in college full time. Crazy life, so many ups and downs.

- the funeral of a friend's dad was today, he had last tuesday a heartattack - my grandma is coming out of hospital, after she was brought to a different hospital, where she got finally the right meds. And that only happened b/c her family doctor ordered it. Polish hospitals suck, it's incredible how they don't give a f*ck about the people boo, photoshopless for more than 3 weeks I feel with you

^Aww what happened to yours hon? Reply to the "why?": Last week, I was working on a colo and photoshop wanted to update something as usual which means that it resets the comp right after that and I hadn't saved the colo yet so I decided to cancel it (I didn't really read what it was trying to do and I'm still cursing myself for that). Then on the next day when I opened it all my brushes were gone, nowhere to be found. Gosh, I was so mad because I promised my friend to make quickly a myspace layout and duh.. so I couldn't. I was planning to get the 'new' photoshop (CS 3) anyway, so instead of uploading hundreds of brushes twice in a row I waited till weekend when I finally got it. That's when my comp decided to be a real pain in the neck (again). Either it started installing it and then stopped almost at the very end saying that only one adobe software can be installed at the same time when nothing else was open/running, I still don't get it or it kept saying to close IE when I hadn't even connected. Psht. Oh and I had to delete my old PS too. *roll* My bro is coming to fix it sometime next week two days before I'm going to the Netherlands for a week so I can only play with it again when I get back Poo. So I'm stuck hah.

You know how sometimes you're disappointed at yourself? (Not in the sense of academically failing classes and such... more to... not being able to live up to what you're expected of) Well I'm having one of 'em moments right now. I knew I could do much better but sometimes I just take things for granted. I think I need to get my priorities right.

i have to choose between physics and theatre studies. theatre studies = more chances of being in crew, which is what i love, but physics = better chance of being employed. whatever subject i pick, i'm stuck with for 2 years, so i'm kinda stressing. and i found out why i'm not allowed to do electrotech. they're not running it for the girls, only the boys

^^ that sucks. I had to choose between either Chemistry or Music for next year (grade 11). My teachers, my family and my friends all wanted me to do Chemistry and thinks that I'm good at that stuff (i hated it this year and it was only a little bit..) so instead I picked music. But then again I didn't have the greatest science teacher this year Though I still doubt I will change my mind to do chemistry. They really didn't like my choice... They kept questioning why did I pick music? There's not much do with music. Basically what they were almost saying is that if you can't sing then there's nothing you can really do.. I do realize that it's true for this place where I live but I will move eventually. I hadn't planned to live in this province my whole life or anything. I rather go to many different places lol.

hm... go the complications. so i found out yesterday that the person i'm interested in will be doing philosophy 3&4 next year. i was going to do it too... but then saw electrotech, which would have been more useful. but whatever. that person (let's say... sam) will be graduating next year, which means i have only one year left with them. even though i stand NO chance whatsoever with sam, i still wanna give it a go. and recently i discovered something... controversial... about myself. and my friend HAD to open her big mouth and tell my folks yesterday. like, yeah, just brand me. one of my other friends is like me, and when my family found out they pretty much told me that i wasn't allowed to be close to her. like, wtf? i'm sorry if my posts lately are ranty. it's been a not-good-to-the-point-of-craptacular year. and it just tears me apart that i can't be with sam

In the end I went with the science route and took up Physics, Biology and Chemistry along with other subjects that I hardly use now. The thing is, once you're out of school, only then you will decide what you'll really be doing. I'm doing business currently and it has nothing to do with what I learnt from school at all. Although some parts of me regret that I never took Mechanical Engineering up (not a course for girls, so I've been told). Ultimately however, I think if you're still not too sure what you'll be doing in the near future, you should pick Physics up and leave your choices open next time. You could still go into theatre once you're done with school if you still feel like you belong there.
