- I'm finally seeing Muse in 17 hours! - I'll be missing an important family dinner/tradition due to the concert. But oh well. The things we'd do for music and live experiences, huh? - I spent the whole day with my friends back from high school today. It was nice catching up. - I need to get my hands on Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita. Has anyone here read that book yet? |

These should be in the Music forum, but ah, let's think of this as randomness Muse. Two words. Amazing live. BBC and the Brit Awards do not lie. They certainly deserve Best Live Act.   Matt Bellamy played with much enthusiasm and to think there were only three musicians along with a support keyboardist/guitarist on stage. They came and blew the audience away. So much energy. So much talent and they definitely put on a spectacular show.  You gotta love the balloons.. and their effort. Even if you're not a fan, I think just experiencing the whole concert would be enough to convert you to one. Perhaps not to the extend of memorizing every single song of theirs but to the extend of respecting them as great performers and musicians. Setlist: 1. Knight of Cydonia 2. Hysteria 3. Supermassive Blackhole 4. Butterflies and Hurricanes 5. Assassin 6. Citizen Erased 7. Hoodoo 8. Apocolypse, Please 9. Feeling Good 10. Sunburn 11. Starlight 12. Plug in Baby 13. Map of the Problematique 14. Time is Running Out 15. New Born Encore16. Soldiers 17. Invincible 18. Stockohlm Syndrome 19. Take a Bow All praises for Muse. And I heart them for playing a show at this part of the world. |
