I haven't been posting here a lot lately, but I have a good excuse (hah):
Oct 1st I moved into my new apartment in Heidelberg. Oct 5th I went back to Munich, the next day I went to Istanbul (Turkey) with my mom. Originally my dad was supposed to go (instead of me) but he was sick (and still is), so I took his place. Then we came back on Sunday (Oct 9th) and yesterday I came back to Heidelberg. But now I am sick. I have a cold, so I have spent most of my time since I came back resting / sleeping. (My mom also has a cold.) My dad had to go to the hospital yesterday, and they diagnosed a collapsed appendix, so he had surgery last night. /(I haven't heard from my mom yet how it went but I assume it went well.)
Since I have nothing to do really (or well, anything else would require too much energy), I will upload my pictures from Istanbul in a bit. If anyone here cares to see them I will post a link?!

Hey Viviane, welcome back I was wondering where you have been so long. Hope you'll get better soon. Yeah, it's always problem with the trips you can get cold and sick (because of the temperature difference?) so did you seen the sea? How was a flight? I like to flew the ocean or a sea there's so breathtaking view from up above. Of course we will wait for your pictures I bet you took some masterpiece ones.

Thanks guys. The weather wasn't actually that different, but it was a lot more windy so I think that's what got me sick. I did see the sea, that is the Bosporus. It was really pretty. But I spent most of the flight (both there & back) asleep. Gosh I hope your dad is alright and that you're feeling better. I *always* get sick when I travel! It sucks! Those pictures are great, it looks like you had an awesome time!

Welcome back and great pictures. it looks beautiufl there. Hope you#re dad will be soon fine again Hey, thanks, yeah, it turned out he actually had something different (a "verkapselter abszess am dickdarm") and they removed it so now he can get better. |

I'm so glad I didn't before because I would have been so much more worried!!! I took about 300 pictures so the 129 I picked out aren't actually that many im comparison |
