Glad to hear that Koen, feels great to be back!
You helped me to order them Rosemary's sons album and even got me a signed single. How is the work going on their third album?

They actually released a third album (Home Sweet Home) but that was also their last. Since then the band has disbanded. It still saddens me they aren't making their music anymore.

Too bad I'm still confused that they never got a break through with such amazing songs. Especially the first album.

Their first album was released on Warner Music but soon after Warner dropped them due to reorganizations, so only Shine (2nd single) got promoted properly. After that they ended up at V2 who actually did proper promotion and they opened for the likes of Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Poco, Bush & The Cranberries. The played major festivals and won a prestigious award early in their career, but they didn't really take the effort to get their music across the borders. They always said they wanted to tour the US (and I think UK too) but they only played in NL and Belgium. Most of them have families and a normal career outside of the band and I think stability was a major issue here, so they might not have wanted to take the risk, which probably ended up in the way things turned out.
But yeah, had the music been picked up a little more, they could have definitely had that big break. Combination of bad luck and lack of trying.

Sometime the talent isn't enough, you have to have luck and work your ass off. Too bad they never got to play in stockholm I would have went to that show.

Hi everyone,I'm Sherly Ferelin,20 years old,I'm a Chinese girl:) maybe I'm the only Chinese here.lol.I'm a soccer fan,I like listening to rock, especially the lifehouse's style. There's not too much people in China know about lifehouse,so I often introduce lifehouse to my friends, and they do love their songs, which made me very happy. But I have a big problem now--Jason,yeah guess most of u are just like me,I'm into him crazily.God know how much I love him. Finally,I'm so happy to come here, making friends with you:)

This is my first post, if you can't tell.
I know this is a fan community but I'm wondering if venting about Jason Wade is allowed. Not trying to start trouble but I know a step-relative of his and I gotta wonder how many of you fans know what a headcase the guy is. I won't get too personal, but I'm totally peeved right now so I thought I'd drop in on you.

Hi.
This is a place to discuss Lifehouse music and our hobbies, not a place to discuss Jason's private issues. Over the years most of us respected his privacy and personally I would prefer to keep things this way. I hope you'll feel welcome here though.

I would appreciate it if we can keep the private lives of people private. It's not up to any of us to divulge about that. I'm sure everyone has a different opinion on different people and that's fine, just keep it about the music. The people who visit this board enjoy Lifehouse's music in various degrees, so lets keep the discussions about that and not get personal. I don't see any need for that.

I should probably introduce myself; I'm Robert. Been a Lifehouse fan since June 2008. Actually it's funny story: a relative of mine and I were listening to Collide by Howie Day, and he told me that he thought Day was also part of a band called "Lighthouse" and that I should check them out. Within a year I had all their albums, another six months and I had the full DLD and b-side collection (digitally, I'm working on getting the official singles). Die-hard fan of Jason's writing and the band's wide-ranging work, from soft acoustic demoes like Eighties and Better Part of Me, to inspirational tracks like Revolution Cry and Stand, to hardcore rock tracks like Take Me Away and Anchor, to pop tracks like Easier to Be and If This Is Goodbye, to more experimental stuff like Slow Motion and Barricade. My favourite album is... well, every time I hear NNF, WWA or LH, I think to myself that it's my favourite. If I had to rank them, it'd probably be 1. Lifehouse, 2. No Name Face, 3. Who We Are, 4. Stanley Climbfall, 5. Almería, and 6. S&M. My favourite songs are in my signature, but by play count on iTunes they are Somewhere In Between (721 plays, I have the original and the VH1 unplugged version), Mesmerized (375), Don't Wake Me When It's Over (361), the live version of Angeline (350), Midnight in Philadelphia (329), You Can Shake the Mountains (268), and Come Back Down (265). Breathing is also a favourite of mine. As you can see, while I love the upbeat stuff, I'm a sucker for the slow stuff
