I think I love LH because of their lyrics. Espcially the lyrics on NNF and SCF really describe the way I feel. I was about 13 when I started listening to LH...and like Rosie already said...they were there for a very important time in my life. Their music still gives me hope and strength. That's why I love them. I really can connect to their music...but I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of their third album. I dunno, but I don't feel about it like I feel about NNF and SCF. But what I realized when he did that is that Lifehouse is apart of my spiritual side as well as my emotional side. So in order to understand me you'll have to understand why I love Lifehouse. I know what you mean... it's the same with me, but more with Pearl Jam than Lifehouse. sorry.

I really hate it when people say to me...they are just a band. I have gottne that so many times. My parents actaully sat there and tried to tell me that I couldn't go to a concert becasue I was to obsessed and that they are 'just and band' and will tour later on to.
It is so hard to try to get other people to understand what I feel for them. Mostly, I get made fun of for my obsession with them. My whole Art class basically sees them as a joke becasue I talk about them so much.
Sometimes they are the only happiness that I can find in the world. The one thing that can make me a little happier during my worst days.
It gets really frustratin when no one around me can understand that.

I'm really glad most of my friends understand me. Especially since music in general works like that for me. It's like my drug/medicine.. well, music is like 90% of my life and I wouldn't want to change it for the world. Lifehouse, Nick Drake & Twarres are the three musical acts that are like burned into my soul and I just can't let go of them, in one way or another. My parents don't really understand but they accept that this is who I am. People in my house and at uni don't really understand and I don't care they don't.. but whatever... If people don't want to understand it it's their loss, not mine..

music also means almost everything to me... life without music wouldn't be the same... when I'm sad, worried... there's always a music that can make me feel better... like everything I feel and think is in there... for some of my great friends music is also really important... so I really don't feel like noone understands me, and that is really good, and I'm glad. but for some people might be difficult to understand us all for whom music is so important... but is like you said koen... 'is their loss'...
and jackie... don't really bother with what others think... the important is that you love lifehouse. if the ones around you don't want to understand you, their problem... just don't let them affect you with the stupid things they say.

Lifehouse is my favorite band, but their music is more than just music to me. I don't think many people can understand that unless they feel the same way about a band. Lifehouse is just calming and soothing for me, and it makes me feel better when I am down, and I have met a lot of great people through LH...

Off course, it’s not just good music that we all like. It’s like a way of life, the way of feeling.

Discovering Lifehouse was like finding my significant other, but... with a band and their music. In this sense - it has never happened to me before, although music was always present and always a big part of my life. And yes, Lifehouse is more, it has become a part of me. It brought new things, directions and a bunch of wonderful new people into my life. And in the meantime Lifehouse was a shelter where I could heal my wounds. It kept me honest through a really difficult period in my life. And it still does. As to people who know me, they've learned more about me since I am a Lifehouse die hard fan because I have evolved, listening to this band's songs. Most of them don't understand my passion, but they respect it... I don't know if what I've wrote here makes sense, but that's just the way I feel...

I think ultimately artists wish to create some kind of bond with their audience, but in a time when sex sells more that depth, it's hard to do anymore, or maybe people just don't care anymore. Another thing that makes Lifehouse stand out is that they truly do seem to care about how the music affects the fans and do appreciate all that we can give back. Lifehouse, Nick Drake & Twarres are the three musical acts that are like burned into my soul and I just can't let go of them, in one way or another. 2 years too late, but you never did send me a Twarres cd.

But what I realized when he did that is that Lifehouse is apart of my spiritual side as well as my emotional side. So in order to understand me you'll have to understand why I love Lifehouse. He is gonna have to understand what they mean to me and how they've changed my life. Becuase before Lifehouse I didn't have much of any faith or anything. I think the main reason why I love Lifehouse so much is because they're the first band to put my feeling to music. This is so totally like what it is to me.. Music, emotions, my life , Lifehouse are like so intwined... Why i love LH is so part of my life it's hard to explain but you worded it perfectly..
