Yeah, and I started it. Don't really have anyhting to talk about except for this little moment last night I had with my boyfriend. We were talking, (well really he was talking and I was listening) and he was telling me about his life and past and stuff and it was nice. After we talked about some of other stuff I got into what Lifehouse's music meant to me, but then he interrupted and got back to talking about him It's how he is. He likes to always bring the subject back to him. He's an only child so that's gonna be my challenge to break him of. But what I realized when he did that is that Lifehouse is apart of my spiritual side as well as my emotional side. So in order to understand me you'll have to understand why I love Lifehouse. He is gonna have to understand what they mean to me and how they've changed my life. Becuase before Lifehouse I didn't have much of any faith or anything. I think the main reason why I love Lifehouse so much is because they're the first band to put my feeling to music. Okay, I'm sleepy so I have stop writing now. I'll add more later

I completely agree....there are people out there (I know several) who this band has become so much more to them. Its something that gets inside our soul, lights us up. I've converted my friend, lol. She's a believer...

There are only 2 others (one band/one artist) that I have the same sort of connection with as I have with Lifehouse.. I guess with Lifehouse it's just a tad deeper..

I guess with Lifehouse, they were just there for an important time of my life. From when I was 13 - those important teenage years. I guess without Lifehouse I wouldn't be who I am today, because I relied so heavily on them.
And now I'm reaching a moving on period in my life - I'm leaving everything behind. I'm not as obsessed with LH as I used to be, now I can just say "I'm a fan". A dedicated fan, but no longer obsessive. I can survive on my own now.

Lifehouse is one of the only bands whose music I can truly connect to. It's the hardest thing to describe to people who don't feel the same way. I don't know how many times my mom has said to me "Michele... they're just a band, it's just music." But to me, it's so much more than that. For so many of the songs, it feels like the words are coming right out of my head. The music is a refuge for me, knowing that someone feels the same way. I honestly don't know if I am making any sense at all, so I think I'm going to stop...

Well I didn't think it was that profound, it's just how I feel, but I'm glad you guys agree with what I said... it's nice to know that someone knows what I'm talking about!

I definitely agree on how it's hard to explain to other people... I know in my case personally, Lifehouse kind of "found" me right at a point when everything was changing and people were moving on and I needed something to hold onto. "No name face" is the most honest, true album lyrically that I have found, and I can identify so much with it, especially "Only one" (which is why it's my favorite song). Lifehouse is like the one true friend who will always be there for you, and I know that I can always count on them to be there for me, when everything and everyone around me is out of my control. I have no clue what I would be like without them. They have also introduced me to so many other fantastic bands, and I've met some of the most amazing people (Lifehouse FANS). So congrats to Lifehouse for everything!
