DVD OF MUSIC VIDEOS AND LIVE PERFORMANCES SET FOR RELEASE NOVEMBER 22ND
Santa Monica, California, October 14, 2005 - Los Angeles based rock band Lifehouse celebrated this past week when they were presented with gold plaques for their self-titled set. Lifehouse was released in March 2005 and has been RIAA-certified Gold in the United States, signifying sales of over 500,000 copies. The first single, “You And Me,” remains at #1 on the Adult Top 40 chart.
In other Lifehouse news, the band is putting the finishing touches on their first dvd. Titled Everything, the dvd set will include every music video Lifehouse has made during their career along with live performance footage shot earlier this year at the Roseland Theater in Portland. . Music videos that will be included on the Everything dvd are “Hanging By A Moment,” “Sick Cycle Carousel,” “Breathing,” “Spin,” “You And Me,” and “Blind.”. Live performance footage will include “Come Back Down,” “Days Go By,” “Everything,” “You And Me.” Everything will be released on Geffen Records November 22nd.
Fronted by singer-guitarist Jason Wade, drummer Rick Woolstenhulme and bassist-singer Bryce Soderberg, Lifehouse was produced by John Alagia (John Mayer, Rachel Yamagata, Liz Phair, Dave Matthews Band) and recorded at his home studio in Easton, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay.
Wade proved himself a gifted songwriter with Lifehouse’s first record, 2000’s multi-platinum No Name Face, which spawned the #1 hit “Hanging By A Moment.” In fact, “Hanging By A Moment” was the most-played song of 2001! Stanley Climbfall, the band’s Top 10 follow-up, was released in 2002 to critical praise.

^^picking TMA as a single wasn't really the best choice anyway (IMHO)

I think TMA could have been another HBAM, but it was released, it wasn't released, there will be a video there wasn't a video

but TMA is the one that they keep playing more times here on the radio... HBAM is not that asked by the listeners. so it wouldn't have been a bad idea to make a video of it. and i don't believe that was a bad choice as a single.

the only version of TMA ever played here was live on pinkpop.. they played it like 3 times..
besides.. tma was only released in the US (officially).. but yeah, if you release a single, make a video, i agree.
and don't get me wrong.. i think both tma & hbam are two of the 'lesser' songs of Lifehouse. But music-technically i can see why hbam had success.. and i don't see that in tma. also i think that tma is a song that more easily gets boring to the 'masses' than hbam did.. but that's just how i think it is/would be.. i could be off

I love TMA, and I think if they had done it right, it could have been as big as HBAM. It has the same catchyness, same anthem feel to it. Besides, if they had made a video for it, it would've had both Serge and Sean...

Also, TMA is the song that catches attention when I share LH music with my less "enlightened" friends (hehe), it became my mom's favorite song as well as the song that my best friend loved way more than "You and me" and she loves the acoustic version even more. When I first listened to it, I thought right away that it would make a great radio song, even more so than "Spin". It just has a good combination of elements: the anthem feel, great song to sing along to, catchy lyrics (easy to learn if you hear it on the radio enough times), and a great message. I'm also partial to this song because it has Sergio's input awww...
anyways...

Most people that heard SCF kinda skipped over TMA cause Jason (almost) gets off key at one point.. i don't think the album version is good.. the acoustic one is brilliant though.. but in general i think the song is overrated..
