If you are a hardcore fan of these guys and have been following them for many years
(such as myself), this is the setlist you have been waiting for. They have finally
answered the call of many fans requesting the return of songs like "Anchor", "Wash",
& "Come Back Down" (to name a few). They mixed in 8 songs that havent been played in
close to a decade (some more and some never before). "Learn You Inside Out" was a
highlight as that has always been an album favorite. Never imagined I would see it
live 12 years after being released. Mindblowing. Regarding the recording, I had some
talkers near me during the lesser known songs, but they dont show up too often.
Thankfully, "Anchor" is one of the band's heaviest songs, so while the majority of
the crowd surely didnt know it, attempting to talk over it would have been a
challenge. Beware of the "whoo'er!" to my right. She pops up between songs but can
be heard a few times during, as well. I lowered her when I could. She seemed to
be enjoying herself. Be sure to share this with as many fans as you can!
Finally, to the idiot who asked the band on twitter to assist in his proposal and
then no shows when the band gives you their stage: you win moron of the day! I hope
you hear this and sulk uncontrollably. (end of Quasi).
