When I bought this ticket, I took a chance. Traveling over 6 hours to Niagara Falls,
Ontario in early January is always a risk with heavy snow, ice and cold temperatures
sure to be in the forecast around this time of year. Thankfully, there were no snow
storms, just sub zero temperatures. When tickets went onsale, there were none
available on the aisles facing the stacks so I got the next best location: DFC.
I had a screamer in the row behind me, so please be forewarned she pops up from time
to time. I did remove a few of her screams in between songs. She does pop up during
the music, most notably, "Pride". The crowd was pretty well behaved throughout
the 80 minute set. They put on a great show similar to their tour last summer with
Switchfoot, with only a few differences. Jason told a few of us after the show he is
hard at work writing the next Lifehouse record and that the new material harkens back
to their earlier work. No timeframe, but I would expect 2019 to be the target with a
few pop up shows throughout 2018. This recording is dedicated to all the hardcore fans
who traveled far & wide from FL, OH, OK, NJ and PA just for this show. You guys were a
blast to hang out with before and after.
