Out of all the solo songs he released (including Paper Cuts) this is by far the best one yet! It’s a mystery to me how this did not make it on any of the records.

Out of all the solo songs he released (including Paper Cuts) this is by far the best one yet! It’s a mystery to me how this did not make it on any of the records. This one was copyrighted a week before Forever and and Never, on July 1 2016 so it was likely written last spring. This EP is really turning out beautifully, I'm loving F&N, Pulse, and Survive! There's something really uplifting and positive in all these lyrics, which tbh is uncommon for Lifehouse where to me their lyrics are typically more neutral (a balance of the lights and darks). I wonder if the other half of the EP will be the 'Low Days', ie darker songs... I told J at the show how great his solo stuff is, should have asked him what comes after HALD. |
