I didn't do VIP at my shows but IMO $75 wasn't worth it. First of all, you have to be to the venue at 115 on show day (that's 6 hours before the opener hits the stage) and then you only get 1-2 minutes with the band. The soundcheck is cool and all, but if they were to do a private acoustic performance taking requests from the VIP group, I would have been far more interested. Especially with different acoustic song sets in different cities.

At least for today, here's what was lame: we didn't see their actual soundcheck. When we were checking in, we could hear their actual soundcheck. They played bits & pieces of SSC, Only One, and something else I forget now.
I agree...2 songs & and quick assembly line to say hi was weak. Still had fun tho and I'd still do it again.

I am a bit bummed I haven't been able to say hi. They haven't been coming out after the shows. Jon (from Switchfoot) has been doing a 30min acoustic aftershow for anyone who stays 30-45mins after the show ends. Just follow him on twitter. I got to catch that in Columbus the other night. Had to skip the one in Huber Heights with work this morning.

Pretty cool that the DLD cover was Jason at 3 yrs old. Always wondered if it was him or an early picture of Jon since the album was named after him. Anyone know the story behind the name of Diff's Lucky Day?

really not digging this new live version of From Where You Are... Jason's guitar picking really gave a lot of emotion to this song. Seems weird in this new version

Yep! Sorry to say it, Dewey, but tonight rocked 10x's harder tHan Huber Heights.the crowd was easily double the size & much more into the entire set. They really fed off it.
Please if anyone has a full video or clip of The Edge, post it for me. My stupid phone stopped recording & I missed him talking about my sign & the first few lines of the song.
Overall, very high energy again! Loved it!

Went to the Toronto show yesterday. Kiefer Sutherland was there in the audience. Kinda boring set, just all the singles basically and the Acoustic part was a Jason solo version of Broken (full song), which was really awesome and then "Everything", he started solo and then the band joined. That's it, no rare songs or anything like that, so that was a bit disappointing. The performance itself was solid as always and they sounded great.

I wonder why they played Between The Raindrops in Denver (first show of the tour) and then dropped it all together? That's one song from Almeria I don't mind hearing, even if it was a single. re: Kiefer Sutherland -- I still remember accidentally bumping into him at a Lifehouse show in Toledo in August, 2005. He was managing (I think?) Rocco Deluca who was opening that leg of the tour. I remember thinking "OMG is that who I think it is?" and then he was gone before I could say anything.

That's how Jack Bauer works, Dewey. Once you see him, he is gone.
You're right though. He was Rocco's manager back then. He also was the head of the label he was on at the time. Man, those first two Rocco albums were amazing.
