So it sounds like the set list is just pretty much going to be the singles and what they plan to release on their greatest hits album. I'm a bit disappointed by this. I know they have quite a few songs they feel they have to play regardless, but I was really hoping to see them play a few different songs as opposed to what we've all seen a hundred times. Oh well, either way I still can't wait! It's been way too long! Knowing them they'll play more than just the singles, but I was a bit disappointed too. I guess when you're co-headlining you play to both crowds. Well, yeah, they have to add in a few extras to fill the set. I'm just disappointed because that's basically saying nothing new will really be played. New as in something they've never played before. Oh well. I guess my biggest wish then for this tour is that they at least change up Spin. I'm so tired of that weird cheesy keyboard/digital sounding intro thing they've been doing for like 8 years now.

Does anyone know who is performing first: LH or Switchfoot?

Does anyone know who is performing first: LH or Switchfoot? I have a feeling Lifehouse will go first, mainly because Switchfoot has five people (including a keyboardist) so the setup might take longer.

my friends Steve and Shelly are there tonight. They are pretty dedicated fans, so I told them in advance if any rare songs pop up (ones they havent seen in years) to video. Well, "Only One" just popped up on FB, but I cant share it because its private :/
Looks like they are closing tonight. No idea on set length yet.

I feel like they tend to choose either Everything or Broken since both are the emotional songs that have the slower start and then the climactic ending.

Surprised about Broken, but it's good to see some deep cuts like IIWII and Only One in there. dewey according to your friends, did they playing any of the songs differently?

Quick question for anyone who got VIP packages: have you heard anything about them since you got them? I've received nothing so far and I'm going to the Toronto show next Wednesday.

my friends did the VIP. they said they received an email a few days before with instructions and what time to arrive. they got to spend a few minutes with the band (no selfies, but a professional took a picture which will be emailed later) and got to watch soundcheck. 3 songs, only one, it is what it is and you & me. they took video of the later 2. shelly said overall she loved it and it was worth the $75. she also got her OOTW CD signed.

and oh to answer your other question, the songs sound the same to me. only one is very reminiscent of 2007's version (the last live version I have, anyway).

Those are deep cuts? If by deep cuts you mean "not a radio single, but used in regular rotation for live shows & during promotional acoustic sets" then I guess :/
I love them both a lot, but I'd prefer something less often played I guess.
