Anybody else a bit disappointed by the lack of any sort of news?
Did we even have a US headlining tour? no dates, no music, no new single,...just silence.
It's almost as if this album never happened. Sad cause I actually thought there was some good music on this album.

Be patient. Lifehouse will surely come up with a new tour. In the past, there has repeatedly been a short break. Remember that the group is now 'Out of the Wasteland'. Commercial success is no longer a requirement for Lifehouse. - Although I also like some more news - . Bryce/Komox is performing in San Diego on the Hojpodge Festival in April. They now all have time for their family and can charge the battery for a new tour. A US Tour, I expected this summer for sure. At least that's what I think.
All In for live!

Rein.. I agree, but also think it's stupid to release an album, tour Europe and then nothing (from a professional stand point)..from a personal one I get it:p Bryce;s wavering in an interview during the tour already scared me, and his work for Komox is awesome, but doesn't really seem like Lifehouse is moving anywhere soon. I would be surprised if a full summer tour would come up, I see festivals and stuff yes..but who knows. They could simply be a lot clearer about their plans/ if they are taking a time out for family and stuff, totally normal and human, but you could give the fans a little bit of a heads up, right. also, I just miss them, maybe that's where my frustration comes from;-)

I was almost positive due to the Nickelback cancellation last summer they would be back in the States ASAP to do a short tour (major cities) before going full on in 2016. Sadly, not one US show has been booked and the OOTW promotion has all but ended. Unlike Almeria, this is actually a REALLY GOOD record, so I cant see letting it die just yet. They still have yet to play a headlining show in Ohio since 2007 (isnt that crazy? playing after an Indians game doesn't count) and I hope they book one this year.

After seeing them twice live only feeling what's left was that they couldn't care less about anything else but doing it just for pure business. There was zero connection with the audience, those reminder lists "do this, do that, thank them" just underlined my understanding. They got few bucks from European and Asian/Australian tour so obviously US tour is not worth the hassle at this moment.
It's a sad because they are wasting so much potential even I can clearly see that running out of inspiration is clearly visible. Longer break could do really good for the whole band.

Maybe I am understanding this in the wrong way.. (If that's the case I'm sorry haha) But.. Oh my.. Why would they let the fans without anything new or any news?

honestly, that would not surprise me either..but I also have hope and I think if they knew they would quit now , they'd tell us (they also told us about the hiatus thing eventually:p) and I seriously don't get why you still post here if you are this negative about it all Escalibur. Perhaps for you chapter lifehouse is closed and it's closed with a bitter taste (that's what I'm getting), that is totally fine..but like.. I don't like Justin Bieber, so I don't post on JB fora.. makes sense right? of course you can give your opinion, and I partially agree. but I dunno, sorry:p

I wouldn't be surprised if they even split up but for now it definitely doesn't look 'promising'. Lack of infromation can also mean that maybe even they don't know what should they do.

I can give all my opinions all day long regardless are they positive or negative. What would you do is totally up to you. LH has been/is still a very special band for me for 16 years so yes I will occasionally keep following their situation.

I am worried about the lack of any information and I think "Out of the Wasteland" deserves much better, the Radio Station in my country did way more promo for this album than the band, I heard "One for the Pain" everyday last Autumn, I even heard "Exhale" on that radio... It has so much potential and the more time flies, the more I think the potential is being wasted. On the other hand - the cancellation of the tour with Nickelback was a bummer for the guys. Looks like it's not so easy for them now to go on their own tour now they're independent. Maybe it was easier this time to plan to tour Europe/Philippiness/New Zealand/Australia. But as Nickelback is coming back , maybe there will be news coming soon. I know that Bryce needed time to develop his own project and it looks to me like Jason gave him this time now, so maybe they are planning something for the Summer, or maybe Jason decided to take another break to work on his own in the studio and restore his energy. It worked for him last time, and he really enjoyed the last tour in Autumn. After talking to them last tour it also looks like they need more time with their families now, they treasure this time more now than before and I can understand that. Whatever happens to "Out of the Wasteland" tour, it's all really in Jason's hands. As a fan I am a bit concerned that the album that was actually good may fade away like that, but I am not worried it means an end for Lifehouse... I think they may focus on recording what they want, just for us fans and for their own joy of creating, in the future.

Looks like Jason's been doing some songwriting with Ron Aniello... a week ago this song "In The Dark" came out by Rita Wilson, co-written with Jason and Ron (and the chorus sounds like J doing backing vocals). Edit: this was actually written back in 2014, likely during the hiatus. He still played on this album, which was likely within the last year.
I know that Bryce was expecting the hiatus to be much longer than it was, so perhaps he and Jason agreed that after the album came out and they toured, he could have some time to get KOMOX going again. Bryce did say recently that DAV2 is being officially released soon.
