I remember that article as well. To the best of my knowledge, they never played it. I think the only new songs played on the NNF tour were Climb, Take Me Away, Goodbye and Winds of Change. (I think the others were from the Blyss or FKA era)

I have to wonder if this mystery song became something else. Perhaps it was a very early draft of Stanley Climbfall? The standing/climbing theme seems like a more refined version of the concept of walking... just pulling thoughts out of the air though. I know the night they played Winds of Change was late September 2001.

My first thought was Spin, but SCF might make more sense, yeah

I thought Take The Weight was a Blyss song, but when I listen to the live version and the "You're the man, baby!" makes me think they'd already blown up and the JIH crowd was already in tact. Good call.

Good call. Maybe that comment was directed to some bozo in the crowd from another bozo in the crowd (bozo because they don't care about the music, which is why you hear low conversations and such over Jason's playing). I always figured it's the audio portion of someone videotaping in a pub or small venue circa 1999 or early 2000. Remember, that gold masters disc from a while back had the studio version which predates No Name Face by over a year! I doubt Jason would leave it off the album and then play it live on tour, plus it's leaning far closer to the Christian side that they almost completely strayed from by the time NNF debuted...

It does pre-date NNF but I seem to remember they did play it either just before the album dropped or a shortly after. I may be wrong. Seems to have stuck in my mind that way though.
