Am I the only one that can't actually find the CD in stores at Target? I've been to 4 different Targets now. 3 were sold out, 1 didn't carry it at all.
Aside from being annoyed with that, the worst part to me is how the pre order packages have been handled. I've done pre orders like this with multiple different artists and bands, and they ALWAYS 1) include mp3 versions on release day and 2) are delivered within 2 days of release day. I'm not in any obscure area for shipping, but between the fiance and myself, we ended up with 3 pre order packages for this album and they aren't scheduled to be to us until Saturday.
Not being able to go out and physically find the CD, not getting mp3's when I've already spent over $100 on pre orders specifically from their official store, and not receiving the pre ordered packages until days and days after release day have left me pretty irritated.
Aside from that, I love that we got 7 DIFFERENT bonus tracks. I do hope they put out a few more "live in studio" versions like they did with Yesterday's Son, though. To me, those are the best extras.

I'm just speculating here, but it might have to do with them being indie now and no longer having the support and manpower of a major record label when releasing an album. Not that that's much of an excuse, more of an explanation.

Oh, I'm sure you're right, Klein. I guess what sucks is that, with being independent, they probably had to spend a lot of their own money on some of these services. Like some of the terrible, useless & gimmicky items in the pre order packages... and the service or company they chose to go with is just not that great unfortunately. But when you're working with your own money and budget, of course things will be a little more limited or just not done on such a grandiose scale as the major labels are able to pull off.

as far as I know..that happened to a lot of people for Almeria too...and they were on a label then...this is probably not their fault..but it does sure reflect on them as a band

I was actually impressed with the Almeria package when I got it. The autographed booklet, CD, and vinyl all together were nice. It was also a package that made sense and wasn't just random clutter like we got with this album.
I'm not even saying it's their fault or reflects poorly specifically on them. I think a lot of people will be put off the way I am with this experience, but I think it's the management of all this that went south. They probably found a company that handles these sorts of custom packaged items, and it's that company or whoever that is not performing too well. I just hope they don't give that company or person more money for future packages is all!

celticflower I too was looking forward to the fantickets concert code but since we never got the code I assumed that, paired with a poorly received album, there would be no tour. I never wished I was more wrong

Hi! Everyone is talking about H2O... Where can we found that song? I'm curious ... Btw, I like "Angeline" with ukelele! It's so sweet and cute! I was afraid it would stay different as it happened with "wish ".. Do not get me wrong! I like the new version of " Wish" , but I do prefer the "older one"...

I like the bonus tracks! Especially "You are not alone", "Clairty", "Apré La Vie" and "Exhale" Sounds like classic LH songs! I like that style! Apré La Vie seems a very sad song, but gives me chills. Really beautiful. I like the harmonica in "Clairty"
