Welcome to the board! There are some songs Jason cowrote that show other artists respecting his work. Alyssa Bernal wrote a song with him a few years back called "Hold Me Tight" and featured J on vocals. The band Nine Days had a song called "Ocean" off their 2002 album So Happily Unsatisfied (wasn't properly released because the label delayed it, dropped them and then stole the rights to it), and that track is very SCf-era Lifehouse. Ron Aniello produced it and brought Jason in on the guitar solo for "Good Friend" off that album as well. Jason is good friends with Kendall Payne (she provided the female backing vocals on Trying) and let her use the old Blyss song "Stand" on an album of hers (she's rather Blyss/FKA -inspired). Our very own forum member klein had/has a band inspired by Lifehouse, and a fantastic album released in 2010 or so. Daniel, care to elaborate?

I hear that Brian Zilm was heavily influenced by Jason and Lifehouse. His new record is coming out in a couple of weeks and was produced by Tom Drummond of Better Than Ezra. You can hear some stuff at brianzilm.com
PS- I'm Brian Zilm

Hehe thanks Carl my band Long Story Short released an album called "What A Scene" a few years ago, you might like it... You can listen to the whole album on our Youtube page, and it's also for sale on Amazon/iTunes/etc... www.youtube.com/longstoryshort00 We also have a Facebook page www.facebook.com/longstoryshortrockLifehouse surely was among the influences for this record, since LH is basically why I started playing guitar and singing, but there were many other influences that helped shape the record. Anyway, if you like Lifehouse I'm sure you'll like our album too

Very cool that you were inspired by Butterfly! You have a good vibe going there with the beat and guitars. I would suggest being less reserved in the vocals; they sounded quiet and maybe a bit 'unsure' of themselves. Be more confident in your abilities, not everyone has that musical gift!

Really thank you... I didn't have freedom to record it 'cause it was on my grandpa's friend house and the sound was boring the old man... But really soon I will have a new song so much better that remember me songs like disarray, bridges and spin. I would like to share with you guys

The song on this link, "If It's You", is inspired by Lifehouse a bit. www.brianzilm.com/causes/I also have one called "On Your Way" that is pure "Take Me Away" and Stanley Climbfall type of Lifehouse. Koen has heard that one and agrees.
