Thanks for posting!
I must say I'm a bit disappointed. I mean, it's nice, and I bet it cost a lot of work, with all the details, but there were so many other, more creative entries by people who had a vision of what Lifehouse music means to them.

I think I agree. I congratulate the winner and give her or him props for spending the time to create that one, but I can't picture it next to past Lifehouse covers. Unless that was the one that got the most fan votes, and they still haven't chosen it yet. It's been up for 36 hours and they haven't even acknowledged it on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram, and other Lifehouse fan sites haven't even caught wind of it yet. There were several that really stood out to me, mainly these ones: I remember seeing the Smoke & Mirrors cover for the first time and thinking how it didn't feel like Lifehouse to me; I then heard the album and thought the same. When I saw the final Almería covers I was completely stunned, wondering how on Earth they would choose a design like that (I've since gotten used to it). This one is better, but I'm not sure yet. I've had discussions with my cousin (who's a musician) about the effect of album covers on music, and we both agree that songs can have certain colour schemes, and also that a cover can change the feel of a song. I just tried listening to Flight while looking at the new cover and it works better than I figured, but I'll have to get used to it.
