Possible song titles: Alien, Central Park, Flight, Hourglass, LAX, Runaways, Yesterday's Son (some of those titles may end up being songs written for other musicians though but at least those are some of the titles I didn't recognize but are licensed to Jason/Lifehouse) Those might be the song titles, at least "Hourglass" because they mention 'time' as a theme for the album and Hourglass as a symbol that can be used on their album cover design in the fan contest. I also saw this tweet where Jason explains that his solo album turned into a Lifehouse album but he also made a record "Paper cut" that "will come out at some point" twitter.com/Jasonwademusic/status/535467472132902912

Oh wow......that's funny yet sad. I was really hoping for a solo album from Jason, but couldn't be happier that they made another album! Jason's other solo album never got released (I forget the name at the moment), but I noticed that at least one song, Shiny Silver Beast is on Paper Cut.

I really like Flight! As so many of you have mentioned, it is very reminiscent of the earlier Lifehouse songs. The song speaks to me because it is fairly simple without all kinds of bells and whistles. And I also like the way that Jason plays with language in this song. It is not easy, because it can sometimes come off as a bit try-hard...
I'm super excited and looking forward to hearing all the new music. The title Hourglass is intriguing. The whole time theme to the album sounds appealing to me.

So I've done some digging and compared the BMI work numbers of various songs (which correspond to the time at which the artist registered them), and it turns out that Hurricane, Flight, Yesterday's Son, Runaways, Central Park, LAX, and Alien were all registered at the same time (in that order). Hourglass is a bit newer, as its reference number is around 3000 higher than the others. I did some research on tracks that were registered by other artists moments before and after Jay registered his. One track I found was only five songs behind Jason's group, and it came out in April of 2013. Along with the fact that Central Park was slated for Paper Cuts, this suggests that (unless he waited a heck of a long time before registering), those work numbers correspond with songs registered in mid 2013. In which case... Flight and the rest of them were written over a year and a half ago!
Something else to note: Angeline and the newer half of the Paper Cuts release (we know half of them were old songs) are not registered on BMI, with the exception of Central Park. Which suggests something else entirely: Central Park is grouped with the stuff that's expected to make up the new LH album, meaning if and when Jason gets around to releasing his first solo album, it won't be the exact one that he had ready a year ago.
Interesting, interesting...

I am happy that the fans finally agree again on a LH song, that hasn't happened in such a long time. With Flight I feel like Lifehouse are finalyl going back home, there lyrics are again a bit mroe open to interpretation, which I think most of us loved a lot about LH and the music is lovely and uplifiting and the song jsut really makes me smile. I can't wait to hear the album and am positive it won't be anohter Almeria (not that it was a bad album or their worst album IMHO)
