Almost You is excellent! Sounds like Jason a little in the chorus at "That was almost me. She was almost you". No crazy about the electronics but I'm going to download it anyway. Thanks for sharing!

I am still pretty much obsessed with Almost You.
I do like Bryce's style, it's not too electronic and has it's own touch and I think it matches him very well.

I completely agree. Is there any word on a full album? I know he's had a lot of side projects over the years (remember TEA?) and I'd love him to take advantage of this hiatus to put out his own work.

I am also not crazy about the electro sound but I like that Bryce is experimenting and trying to find his own way. I heard Almost You in an acoustic version, I love the live versions of his songs and I think they will sound different once he has the album out.
As to the album, he plans to release it but it may still take some time.
I also like it very much that Bryce's songs aren't obvious lyricwise, one can see he learned a lot by being a member of Lifehouse but he has his own stories to tell.

Some news posted by Bryce on his new Komox Kids Facebook page: Hey Y'all! Bryce here. I just wanted to welcome everyone to our new band page. We are working on developing things over the next few months so we are grateful to have your likes during the early stages. We have spent the last two years developing the project under the name 2ndwheel; we felt like the name change was necessary as our music was changing and I felt like i needed to get back to my roots, naming the band after a town in Canada very dear to me that I grew up close to. So far we have written and collected over 30 tracks and we will continue writing and developing until we get our music to the bar line we feel it should be at. until then we still have older demos at www.soundcloud.com/komoxkids and will have more to come as our game plan unravels.
